He's always had a funny voice but it's gotten way worse in the past 15 years. He said that his ENT found that he uses his larynx oddly so his voice has aged prematurely similar to a heavy smoker.
People often blame it on his Nitrous oxide addiction but it's not the cause. Here's a clip where he talks about it.

Drug abuse, for the most part, waaay too much drug abuse.

He's a clean man now (good for him), but the damage in his body is permanent, his raspy voice is just one of those problems.

Seems she only kept her part in Umbrella Academy because she was already on the cast and she's a known shit stirring histrionic freak that would have kicked up a huge tantrum if she'd been replaced, so instead they fucked the entire show to save her fee fees.
Seriously I haven't spoke to a single person who kept watching Season 3 after the Viktor/Vanya arc, the reviews are either honestly terrible or "stunning and brave" puff pieces that focus on her "brave journey" but the numbers don't lie, she killed that show like she killed her career.

Is there anything she's done since becoming a sad Pooner? Even her interviews and shit since then seem to focus on the Pooning rather than her actual career, such as it is.

The thing is, how do you cast her?

You can’t cast her as a woman, because she “isn’t” one any more, and in any case hormones and surgeries have fucked her up.

But she doesn’t pass as a man. If you need a man for a role, just cast one of the literal thousands of male actors. If you cast her in a male role, it’s just going to be distracting for the audience, because she’s a wee little pooner with a frog voice.

All she’s good for is playing a trans man, and even here in Clownworld, there just aren’t that many trans male roles. I’m reminded of the way they cast that troon in the Barbie movie - basically as a minor character with maybe two lines, because otherwise you have to answer why that Barbie sounds like a gay man and also looks like one.

This one (Morgan Davies) was in Evil Dead rise.
She doesn’t pass any better that’s for sure, I thought she and her sister were both gender nonconforming, but she’s definitely more attractive (and younger) than Ellen.

Hollywood’s going to have more and more pooner options sadly, Ellen is bottom of the barrel.

I'm still holding out hope to see her in some capeshit movie playing Superman, or Batman, or even the fucking Punisher.
You'd have to play it completely straight, and cast all the other characters over 6 foot, and the villains at least 6'3" although I'd make an exception if its Nick Cage as the main villain.
I have a very strange and dark sense of humor, I want to see this ridiculous little Pooner playing a masculine roll, with everyone else acting like they don't notice she's 5'2" with a frog voice and taking her completely seriously when she tries to be intimidating.
It would be the greatest capeshit movie since the OG Christopher Reeve (F) Superman movies.

Hollywood is starting to watch its money dry up so we should be seeing the gender of this nonsense. People screeching about ESG and Blackrock doesn’t hide that venture capital is drying up and if Hollywood doesn’t start making real money soon some big companies could go pop. What’s the old saying about bankruptcy? At first it starts very slowly but ends very quickly?

Also, I can fix she/them.
