Getting Elliot therapy isn't a bad idea. The problem isn't the therapist/counselor it's Elliot or people like him. For therapy to work you have to be willing to not only listen to the counselor but also you have to want to better yourself.I cannot help, but feel his parents can be partially blamed for what Elliot has become.
He was a sensitive kid, probably mentally unstable from an early age, but left untreated, as his parents never tried to identify the root cause of his problems. They only provided inefficient solutions, which usually involved throwing money at whatever issue their child was facing.
Oh, Elliot doesn't like the school we enrolled him in?
Welp, just move him to a different one, an elite one this time.
What? He doesn't like his apartment?
Oh well, let's just move him to another one, damn the expenses, I guess.
He was coddled and subsequently neglected. He understood this, as he emotionally manipulated his mother, to do his bidding, well into his adulthood, by calling her and crying like little bitch about whatever he was bothering him.
I think his obsession with wealth and status was also something he picked up from his parents. Both were heavily invested in Hollywood culture and trying to rub shoulders with important people in the movie industry. His father's career pursuits lead to them moving to the US and the eventual divorce, which certainly did not help Elliot. He was never allowed to have stability in his life, he was given whatever money can buy, but no one really cared about him. The only person who attempted to discipline him was his stepmother, Soumaya, but she never had the patience, nor the agency to have an effect on Elliot.
By the time his parents realised something was seriously wrong with the kid, all they did was hire him a counselor, who gave him basic bitch, Jordan Peterson tier advice. This was too little too late. At this point Elliot has internalised his misconceptions to such degree, even a professional therapist would have faced serious difficulty in trying to dispel them.
I believe if his parents tried to give him meaningful help, he may not have commited the attrocities he did. Maybe he would have turned out to be just a regular, stuck up asshole, instead of a creepy spree shooter.
I generally agree.Getting Elliot therapy isn't a bad idea. The problem isn't the therapist/counselor it's Elliot or people like him. For therapy to work you have to be willing to not only listen to the counselor but also you have to want to better yourself.
I genuinely believe that therapy can fix a lot of shit, but the problem is that on a professional level, you just have to take the classes and complete the requirements checklist to go into practice.Getting Elliot therapy isn't a bad idea. Yeah I don’t get why he was particularly fixated on white girls.. it almost could be a “fuck you, dad” thing since his dad wasn’t a role model for that hang up.Remember this psychopath creep. The fixation with blonde white women he put on display in his manifesto or whatever revealed some pretty deep seated self loathing and insecurity about his asian ancestry. I would assume due to the fact he attended mostly white schools and noticed he was something of an "other" and felt embarrassed about it.
He gets upset when he sees "indian" with white women even though he himself is not fully white.
Sorry if my inputs kind of supericial. The obsession he had for white women was always bizarre to me.
Holy shit! Is he some anime villain whose father kept him chained up and beat and raped him every day until he was finally strong enough to pull his chains out the walls and kill him? Then for his father's murder he got sent to a prison colony where he had to fight and kill the worst criminals in the world to survive!Humanity… All of my suffering on this world has been at the hands of humanity, particularly women. It has made me realize just how brutal and twisted humanity is as a species[…] It is a dark story of sadness, anger, and hatred.
Agreed. I tend to like all women who are fit with attractive facial features.Yeah I don’t get why he was particularly fixated on white girls.. it almost could be a “fuck you, dad” thing since his dad wasn’t a role model for that hang up.
I imagine he’d sperg about seeing other half breeds date white girls because he couldn’t pretend that he had a special disadvantage they didn’t? Maybe it put the blame back on his personality, and his personality was the thing he couldn’t understand was wrong with himself.
Unfortunately he never would. I don’t think he could ever be fixed. Mostly because he was so narcissistic.Getting Elliot therapy isn't a bad idea. So no ooga boogaAgreed. I tend to like all women who are fit with attractive facial features.
Any man who hates women becoming a woman would have to be one of the most self loathing individuals of all time.Unfortunately he never would. I don’t think he could ever be fixed. Mostly because he was so narcissistic.
In another time line instead of murder he’d probably cut off his dick and cry about Hogwarts legacy.
He'd been prescribed various medications for his mental health issues since his mid-teens. He was prescribed risperidone the year prior to the killings but refused to take it and disengaged from that psychiatrist.By the time his parents realised something was seriously wrong with the kid, all they did was hire him a counselor, who gave him basic bitch, Jordan Peterson tier advice. Many such cases of people who are insecure and lacking social skills wanting to date super models. He was wealthy and not bad looking (he wasn't like a brick jawed Chad, but I'm sure there are women who would say he was "cute"). If he learned how to not act creepy and demanding he probably could have gotten some cute "Becky" or whatever average looking women are called in incel terminologyI am fascinated that Elliot, being spoiled and having everything handed to him in his life, expected to have a beautiful 11/10 woman all over him, without even trying to approach them.
He definitely could of easily hooked up with an average/good looking woman if he worked on his social skills, and not an awkward loser with overly high standards.
He will always be known as a huge fucking loser, when he could of easily had a worthwhile and fulfilling life.
At the restaurant, there were three hot model-like girls who sat a few tables down from us. Their bodies looked so sexy and tantalizing that Philip had to go to the bathroom to masturbate.
That's unexpected that he actually had empathy for someone dying, even thought it gave him something he wantedThough I was really sad about the death of Soumaya’s father, as he was a very kind and generous man, I was glad to see Soumaya gone.
Right, but he also got his butthole smashed by creepazoids.Except Maculay Culkin has cleaned up and found the lords Mike, Jay and Rich of Red Letter Media.
