Tattle REALLY don't like Kiwifarms.

Someone was asking a question about Jonathan Yaniv, I think, it was someone who has a quite lengthy thread here on the Farms, and I mentioned that there is a lot of information on a fruit farming site, and I got a snotty "We don't encourage nasty websites" type reply and the comment was removed.

"Sanctuary" is the Housing Association associated with Maria's flat; I'm unclear which sheltered accommodation block in Barnstaple they actually live in. This could have some serious implications for Maria e.g. claiming council tax relief for living by herself, and it sounds like the housing association wouldn't authorise Elphaba living on the premesis.

Sanctimonious middle aged women will never change, sadly. The Tattle board isn’t too bad, but like you said, the mods are the ones who dislike the Farms. They run Tattle very much like the TV show Loose Women, in the sense that they can talk about whatever they like, no matter how derogatory/spiteful/controversial, but the minute someone on the outside says the same thing, they’re reviled and used as a bad example.

Honestly, give it a couple years and Elphaba, or whatever the fuck they’ve become by then, will be cemented in history as a case study on what happens when kids with shitty parents and too much internet access grow up. They become entirely dysfunctional, unable to live without being fuelled by some dopamine hit usually in the form of “drama”, and, in this case, parasite-addled.

Not to be crass but I honestly expect some kind of “Elphaba contracts HIV” arc in the next year or so.

Sadly, with most of the people like Elphaba, a grooming trip wouldn’t do much-they’d enjoy the attention that their new look gave them for a little while but they lack the determination and mental fortitude needed to maintain the cleanliness. Unless they slowly start to get into a routine and better themselves, they won’t benefit from a super-fast total makeover from someone else because their bad habits are still gonna be ingrained into their mind.
