Usually when there are stories of how a partner left the other after a serious injury make me fume: you were in love when everything was easy, but not now?

Yup - it's a procedure, not a surgery. I have no doubt hers was a bit "different" but not because of some mythical hymen. The only reason for her to feel faint & wobbly with the blood loss *I* saw in the photos is she's probably anemic, (I don't think she takes iron regularly), weighs a quarter ton & has the all-consuming emotional reactions of a toddler.
