I think this shows that Tyce is at least a little bit smarter than he usually appears, since he came up with a fairly elaborate scheme that was actually successful, at least in the short term. He starts out on the defensive and ends up making a convincing proposition, countering each of Jace's objections. This is pretty shrewd negotiating. It wasn't the most solid plan ever, but he did manage to win them over pretty easily.

Meanwhile, Eli can't even follow the conversation, and doesn't know what "hypothetical" means.

Well, I think that brings up the question: Is Tyce smarter than is generally thought or is Jace dumber? Frankly, I lean towards the latter.

Tyce actually has a INCREDIBLE amount of blind cunning. He knows the rules, he knows how far they go, and he knows what he can do to break all of them as an analchest.

Im... still watching this, but the bit about him talking about faith crystals is really... sad. He says that his mom bought him a faith crystal because shes going to do everything it takes to 'heal' Jace... but not give him a thearpist. And then Jace mentions that even if the latter were the case, he would not want to go anyways because they would call him crazy :(

The... last part hits close to home. Honestly, all I got to say is that if the therapist is actually good at his/her job, they would say something along the lines of "No Jace, you are not crazy. You just have a very active brain which tends to go delusional when you are not on your meds. But when you are on them, you are a very sane and adjusted individual."

I just... *sigh*

Tyce is a classic sociopath. He has a high degree of superficial cunning because he doesn't properly appreciate risk, has zero regard for other people and only cares about him self. The success all comes from taking high risk gambits, dishonesty and willingness to do/say anything to get what they want without regard for consequences. They have no fear of failure because if they do fail they'll just resort to violence or move on to a new mark.

I thought Jace was reasonably on top of things during this stream, at least between the initial "bitch momming on my MTN Dew lifestyle on the online" part and the Skype calls. It was obviously manic and disorganized, but he got through the Operation Tupacalypse story and made a pretty good case for why Eli should be mad at Tyce. Of course he's trying to minimize his own role in that fiasco, and the "commander" bullshit is as delusional and self-serving as ever, but he showed some surprising insight in recognizing that he needed actual therapy and maybe different medication. He knows when he strays off topic or becomes overly emotional. This is better than I'd expect from a lot of lolcows. Edit: he also acknowledges that he doesn't have the skills needed to live independently, though the way he tries to frame it his hilarious.

Eli is the only one that really seems genuinely stupid to me (Like Cmon Dude Seriously Cmon Like Wow Man Cmon This Is Just Wow Cmon Ok Because Dude Its Like Cmon Wow). Jace is crazy, volatile and easily manipulated and Tyce is seemingly severely dyslexic and constantly blazed on oven cleaner or whatever, but both of them show at least some sort of thought process going on, however demented. Half the shit that Tyce does when they're together is just to push Jace's buttons, which he does very skillfully. Mental illness and substance abuse issues aside, I don't think it specifically takes low intelligence to be a conspiracy theorist, juggalo, criminal, loser or Deagle Nation soldier so much as a severe lack of knowledge and overall maladaptive world view.

And then lapsing into Tactical Whining.

And lol, if he's not a good boy, Gail takes him with her on errands like a toddler that she can't trust to be left alone.

I've said it before, BitchMom is probably the character in the Deagle Nation saga I personally want to find out more about (except maybe Tyce's brother, I suppose). Is it really possible she was part of a cult? When that crystal got brought out, I was almost devoid of surprise - in fact I'm sure someone here had brought up that she'd probably be into that kind of 'medicine' on top of the faith healing.

Why can't she understand the only JC Jace needs is John Cena?

Now I know you are joking, but all things considered Cena is probobly a better role model then Gail. He kicks ass and doesn't force his beliefs on others.

makes you think that maybe Jace really wants to live independent in a gamer shack, but is scared to leave the outside and fail.

Some of what Jace was talking about sounds like west coast hippie "Jesus people" stuff. Crystal healing isn't a part of that, but if you're running in those circles you're bound to encounter all sorts of new age bullshit. That's weird, though, because Gail seems otherwise very conservative, and the faith healing, home schooling and "pray the gay away" stuff suggests more evangelical southern baptist or pentecostal influence. They're on opposite extremes of the spectrum, both uncommon in New England, and have nothing to do with Jace's claims of having a Catholic butthole. I kind of struggle to get a handle on it. It would be interesting to hear something about her background, or something about Pastor Faggot.

Yeah, my mom used to run with some of those new wave Christians... lots of the former Catholics that think going to a church where it's not even a minister giving the sermon is a good idea. A lot of those friends were into some pretty kooky shit. I would not have been surprised to hear about one of them doing shit with crystals.
 
A while back I tried to defend Gail a little based on what I knew about her: saying she was probably just a misguided, overwhelmed single-mom. After learning she's into healing crystals, won't let her son see a legitimate psychiatrist, and learning she takes all of his tugboat and forces him to stay with her, I'm on board that she's worse than Borb.
 
Where is Rob during all of this? I assume, based on the fact that he once (supposedly) posted on the behalf of Jace on his twitter, that he is aware/follows some or all of Jace's online activity. How has Rob not told Gail about all this shit yet? Is Gail really so naive/not computer savvy enough to be able to track Jace online?

I guess they both have jobs or something... GAY

Don't get me wrong, I still think Jace is for real though.... all the sunglasses in the world can't keep your online activity from biting you in the ass someday. If he's trolling, he deserves a god damn silver metal in dedication.
