I wrote about this chick before in one of the many SJW threads here but I will post these screencaps again. I met this woman on OKCupid and the first time I met her I went to her house and left late in the evening. The whole time I was with her she talked incessantly about how white people are racist, evil and scum, etc. It was like she was obsessed or something. That should have been my first clue about how batshit insane she is. She claimed to be part Native American but she was paler than paper. I also had friended her on Facebook.
I was planning on meeting her for a second time, however one night when I was with my other friend coming back from the beach I got a call from my mother saying that this girl was saying nasty things on Facebook. Apparently I had responded to something she said and somehow her post ended up on my friends' newsfeed and my aunt had also responded to it in which this girl responded back with such vitriol. I ended up writing a tl:dr about race relations and ended up getting smacked down by this crazy bitch and well, I'll let you read the screencaps.
She ended up blocking me of course. The last time I saw her she happened to be going to the Buddhist temple downtown. She still is pretty batshit crazy and was cold towards me when I said hi to her.
I go to a transgender meeting as I am genderqueer and apparently that falls into the transgender continuity (I've been told this by the facilitator so I am not saying this to be a "special snowflake") and there are quite a few SJW types there. There was one that I talked to that said that she shouldn't have to educate people about terms like "cisgender" as there is Google that they can use and to be a good ally is that those that are cis or whatever should just sit down and listen and not speak for those that are transgendered and basically making it about themselves. I see this kind of mentality on Tumblr a lot and really, in my mind that is just lazy advocacy. I would go on about how activism is supposed to work considering that my late grandfather was a deaf and handicapped rights activist during the 50s and 60s and actually has had some success working with state legislators (He worked with Gerald Ford to pass the Michigan Handicapped Act) but this post is way too long already.
