Maybe you should have done better research. By that I mean actually reading the study you referred to. Most of those women were abused by men, not other women, and you pretty much wasted everyone's time with the anti-sjw ''interpretation'' of the study.

You seem to have left out a cherry or two on that tree when you were picking them:

The study concluded that 99.5% of an estimated 14,468,000 hetero male victims of "severe physical violence" (i.e. worse than a slap or shove) were victimized by women. I have no idea why sapir there was quoting the female-on-female stats to refute the 'but only men abuse' narrative when the female-on-male stats are far more relevant, but it's disingenuous to point at them and be all "oh tee hee but those lesbians were attacked by men take that MRAs!" while ignoring the numbers two pages down in the same report showing millions of women engaged in violence towards their partners.

Additionally, I have a friend who volunteers for the local domestic abuse charity, and she's told me that they have just about as many male 'clients' as female, but they have no shelter for men; men get sent to an out of state mens' shelter or put up in a hotel room. Ditto for women with boys 12 or older; if you have a son with you you're apparently too triggering to be permitted into the shelter. The lack of resources for men in a violent relationship is a huge problem right this minute, calling attention to that is not the same as trying to get support removed for women in a violent relationship.

This is the part about SJWs that actively irks me: the bending-backwards to ignore victims of serious issues if they have a penis. If someone wants to highlight the problem of violence against trans people, women, or whatever, that's great. But to do so and to simultaneously deny the problem of violence against men makes someone shitty in my book.

One of my friends works in the HR department of my current employer and once a week we go to the pub to shoot the shit and complain about the things that bothered us that week. I'm sitting there and he walks in shoves a piece of paper at me and says "hey Ruin get a load of this shit." Apparently last month our resident danger hair filed over 300 separate sexual harassment complaints against co workers.

Care to provide examples of what sort of stuff she came up with? I've got £10 that says it's "looking at me in a funny way" calibre stuff.

I only had her in my department for three weeks before she transferred but here's a list of things she told me she seriously believes.

:powerlevel: I attend a religious based private university and the day after Donald Trump was announced President there was a huge ass rally organized by the lgbtq community on campus. I attended for the lulz and can confirm that it was like watching a flock of angry, autistic snowflake parakeets screeching at an even larger crowd of Trump supporters about "white male privilege" and how Hillary won popular vote. It was kind of of surreal in seeing that these people actually exist and that they bothered attending a conservative leaning university to garner oppression points, but nevertheless, it was quite hilarious when the president of the LGBTQ organization (of course an overweight tardgender with psycho hair) was confronted by the Presidents of the Republican and Democratic Student Clubs and was asked to stop because she was causing "unnecessary tension".:powerlevel:

Reminds me of the Satanic Ritual Abuse moral panic in the 80s. Thousands of dead babies were sacrificed to Satan every year. There was no evidence of these events, not could anyone put a name to one of the thousands of babies that were killed every year. The few testimonies that were given in court were by minors who had endured a battery of psychological abuse that would make Stalin smile to convince them that they too part in Satanic blood rituals. And of course, anyone who questions this or pointed out the flaws was one of them, and therefore fair game for a public shaming.

That had a resurgence in the 90s', but now it was "repressed memories". Every woman who had depression, or anxiety, had really been abused as a child and their modern day problems were from the cognitive dissonance of having to mentally block the abuse out. The abuser was frequently a parent, usually the father, but if he was unavailable, a mother or schoolteacher would do. It got as far as having people actually arrested and charged, but mercifully fell apart when it was found out the people making the claims had obviously been "coached" by overzealous therapists and the statute of limitations made 90% of these cases unprosecutable anyway, which meant the abuse claims had to be extended into the teen and adult years of these people, and collapsed due to lack of evidence and contradictory claims (claiming you were abused at home when your work history clearly put you living in another state/city at the time).

Sadly, it's not completely dead, the internet hugbox effect means you can always find people to "support" your wildest claims, and a lot of vulnerable people are still fed that lie by therapists with agendas, usually against straight white males.

A family member of mine who lost two of her sisters to cancer in rapid succession (2 years apart) went to a therapist for her depression and was told she had "all the symptoms" of being abused by her father. Except he died of a heart attack, 40 years ago, she bailed , but how many DON'T? It's scary.

No." and then one next to it "Do you like boys or girls? Yes." We chatted a bit, he seemed perfectly normal, never mentioned gender or how evil my male privilege made me, like I said, if it wasn't for the badges I wouldn't have looked twice, just some normal guy with long hair. Which is the weirdest bit to me tbh, if they'd been some dangerhaired landwhale I'd have expected it, but he seemed completely fine otherwise.

when I was a freshman in high school, one of the students that I usually only saw at lunch found out I had a tumblr and decided to try and drag me into gendershit by, I kid you not, printing out a huge list of those kind of trendy genders you see on tungl.

She even did shit like try and tell me what I should make my OCs like, and would repeatedly message me on Facebook until I just got fed up and blocked her on everything

Saddest part is she was a senior.

ETA: she was also one of those people who was like "I'm 1/32 [insert minority here] but I'm just white passing! I'm totally an oppressed poc uwu!"

Sorry I'm a little late to the party. It was during a class discussion type thing which was pretty fast paced and I didn't have a lot of time to marsal a really cohesive arguement on why this kind of feminism is fucking stupid so I kinda just spit out the first semi-solid argument that came into my head, which happened to be about women on woman violence since that had been the topic of discussion a few moments ago. Like I said I was more in it for the REEEES than any kind of serious political statement about who deserves what kind of support. Not necessarily unusual, given it was in a university setting at the time, but I was giving a presentation about Pol Pot and Cambodia under him for a terrorism studies module. I made a note of pointing out how Cambodia was part of a series of Communist governments doing terrible things (either just being terror regimes or using terror tactics at one point), and a girl/woman with danger hair, also taking the module, got very defensive over that fact.

They asked if I was making a statement about Communism, which I was given how prone to terror tactics Communist regimes tend to be, but their tone was confrontational and kind of just weird. They sort of stewed for the rest of the presentation as I continued, giving me nasty ass looks. She had the whole short/danger hair thing going on.

It was odd how angry this person seemed to get over a given like 'communist regimes do horrible things'. Later found out she was part of the student union as a Womens Representative or some wank like that.

Once I was in a music store and the cashier was wearing bright blue lipstick. I asked her "wow you have an interesting lip colour is it from jeffree star's brand?" she just looks at me with this disgusted face and loudly says "I would NEVER support that racist bigot this lipstick is from MAC!" I was honestly fucking terrified it just came out of no where. I haven't seen her in the store since though.

I also had a friend that was deep into SJW culture. She was Pansexual/genderfluid and hardly ever dressed like she was genderfluid. Lmao. One day I just got sick of her attitude of not trying to help herself out of her shitty situation. I told her straight up that genderfluid doesn't exist,provided some links and she lost her shit. I then took it further by calling her transtrender and said the only disphoria she has is her saggy tits. As one could imagine I was immediately called transphobic (which is not true) and blocked.

The general idea is that having a male around will be too traumatic for recently-escaped female abuse survivors. And in some cases this is probably true. The cutoff age for boys in the shelters here is twelve, in some places it's lower. Mind you, the people will find somewhere to stick a mom and her son, they don't just tell them to GTFO back onto the street. They're genuinely trying to help. But often the end result is that a woman and her kid wind up in a motel somewhere rather than a more secure, staffed shelter. They're also at a bit of a loss when it comes to women who were abused by women, they usually get a hotel room too. When it comes to men, like I mentioned the organization here will act to help a man but has no shelter for them, so they get shipped out of town or put in a hotel. Some other organizations in the country, on the other hand, will just flat out refuse to help men who call. And to the best of my knowledge, there are no domestic abuse organizations in the entire US specifically for men.

Most people don't have any idea how fucked up it is at most shelters. By the time someone shows up at one, they're often a complete trainwreck. And with the whole 'abused people often become abusers' thing, it's not that uncommon for someone to show up at a shelter with kids, then just start beating the shit out of their kids and have to get thrown out. The people who volunteer for shelter work often burn out in under a year, it's too damn depressing for them to deal with for long.
