Seems about right, the original EDF userbase is near-extinct. The numbers took a very big blow when the original forum went down after GirlVinyl played Judas. Not only that, but shortly after EDF2 got established it went down again for like two weeks thanks to the druggie-in-chief being inept. This reduced the userbase again by a factor of 2 or something around that number.

the only person with an archive of the forums won't give it to the current owner because he doesn't trust him with the user data. So he made a new forum, but used phpBB instead of XenForo, which everyone hates and thinks is ugly. He won't change it to XenForo out of spite so a few people made their own forum. It's a shitshow.

Sorry for double posting, but I looked around a little after I was tagged and saw my name mentioned.

I never had a myspace and I only joined ED a little AFTER the ED Singers drama was over.
Are you just making shit up to sound like you know what you're talking about?

Uber knows who has it, but he himself doesn't have it. He told me the person who has it would give it to me if I wanted it and uber could run the site, but I didn't want the liability. The new admin is sort of weird, but he was willing to take on the massive chore that is being the owner of this site and I wasn't. He thinks he can turn a profit running it, which is probably true since Zaiger was able to, but I'm less confident in my money making skills so I didn't wanna risk it.

Can I make a suggestion, if you can get the files try to get it because this tard fest that is going on the more backups is better than go wait another loss because of stolen valor. But probably it's terrabites of data that nobody is want to waste more money.
To be fair the problem isn't making money, or zaiger couldn't do it. But more how to get the money.

I can confirm it’s been a legit shit show not a comedy routine but entertaining none the less. Especially since the alt forum was first placed on godaddy.. as if that would last.

That's not the owner and there is a backup, he just doesn't have it. The owner is paperclip. I forgot he uses several accounts.
The guy who runs the alt forum is also a sperg.
One thing that paperclip did that I do support is creating a dox subforum where people can just post the dox of whoever they want. That's pretty funny. Zaiger deleted all the dox on ED and told us to cool it with that after FBI shut down doxbin and I thought that was gay.

Still baffled that the owner of the alt forum made dropdatwat a mod. That guy was (and still is) the community punching bag and a minor lolcow in his own right. I think its some kind of elaborate joke, cause one of the alt forum's user titles is literally a jab at DDT.
 
ED is fucking dead. I have never in my life heard of such a story as that of ED. First Girlvinyl leaves and creates OhInternet, but Anonymous restores the website under Operation Restoration. Then Ryan Cleary takes control over it and DDOS' DreamHost costing 4chon(.)net's owner Savetheinternet hundreds of dollars in server fees, so he then hacks the forum because Cleary set the password to niggers1, leaking the email addresses of EDF users on Pastebin before later being doxxed himself, then after Cleary gets arrested for being a member of LulzSec and having kiddy porn found on his hard drive, Zaiger takes control over the website and runs it to the ground, at one point Daniel Brandt even jacked the .es domain after Zaiger registered it under his name so they had to move it again, and after he left SeeBeen and ConradRock took over where he left off and did even more extensive damage to the Wiki and forum to the point they had to restart the forum over from scratch and many files and whole articles got scrubbed from the Wiki. Now I don't know who owns it.

Obviously, with a website like ED, it's easy to see why some people might hate it simply because they don't want to be doxxed or whatever. But almost all fucking over and damage to the website came from it's leadership, not from lolcows. Except for maybe STI and Daniel Brandt. It's like the people running the site are even bigger faggots than the people they write about in their own articles. Including the leftist SJW diaperfur crybaby Onideus who Zaiger was good friends with. Really makes you think.
