It's pretty complicated, but the actual devs probably aren't seeing shit from this - the dev studios (and the studio heads and shareholders) are. Same as it always is.
When Epic Games paid Gearbox Studios (possibly, allegedly) $30+ million - Randy Pitchford is absolutely not giving any of that to developers. The game sold 5+ million copies (at $60+ each) and the devs aren't going to see any of that either. Company profits are split between stakeholders/shareholders
The main benefit the devs are going to see is "maybe still having a job next year" which they would have had without all of the EGS drama. If (and it's a big if) but if any of the middle management (managers, directors, etc) have a project bonus tied to revenue, this is going to hurt them (as the EGS payout won't be counted as sales revenue) through sales numbers, bad press, and increased piracy.
