If yoy cannot be bothered to illustrate in any style but corporate methamphetamine, it's likely that you're lazy and an artist who shits things out fast and justify half assing it by saying "muh style".

I'm not sure how many corporate Memphis artist are actually illustrators: I would not be surprised if around half or more came from the design camp rather than the drawing camp. Both are good, valuable skills, but a designer doesn't have the same training someone who's drawing all day does, they have to focus on color, layout and shapes more. New York Time's recent article simply presents the "Society for Evidence In Gender Medicine" as a "group that is critical of gender affirming care for minors."
The group is a pseudoscience org that has pushed bans up to age 25, Florida's adult care bans, conversion therapy.

What's more interesting, though, is that he just refers off-hand to the "New York Time's recent article" without saying what it is — a report that the American Academy of Pediatrics has commissioned a systematic review of the evidence for "gender-affirming care". This follows pressure from SEGM.

We'll see what happens with the AAP review. The organisation itself reiterated support for transgenderism at the same time, and previous systematic reviews conducted by the Endocrine Society showed the evidence was very poor but had no effect on the organisation's pro-transgenderism position.

If Republican's disliking of gender affirming care is due to supposed "low quality" evidence (GRADE scores) they should go ahead and pass a law banning all medication based on "low quality" GRADE scores.
There's a reason they haven't.

RCTs are not ethical for so many medications out there. Furthermore, it is impossible to double blind RCT hormone therapy... the effects are extremely obvious.

The thing about "low" and "very low" quality evidence, as is the case for "treating" gender dysphoria with puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones, is that it means we don't know that they have the beneficial effect that is claimed for them. However, we do know what the side-effects are, or are likely to be: loss of sexual function, sterility, retardation of brain development, prevention of bone density development, osteoporosis, heart problems, stroke, and dementia.

It is up to the proponents of a treatment to show that it is better than some other treatment, or no treatment at all. First do no harm, and all that.
