Is Tony saying he would reject a pro bono lawyer because of their political/religious views no matter how good they might be?

These troons like to misrepresent the routine physical you generally have to get for sports as a "genital inspection." You know, making sure you don't have a hernia or something that could permanently cripple you if not fixed.

It's part of the 'YOU CAN NEVER TELL UNLESS YOU SEE THE PENIS' larp

In actuality any checks are going to be along the line of 'lets have a quick look at your birth certificate' to prove what Stevie wonder could see through a concrete wall

Nebraska is the latest state to enact anti-trans laws by governor's edict alone that the legislature could not get through via popular vote.

Youngkin, DeSantis have both popularized doing this in recent months.

Terrible decree defining trans people out of law.

But, wait, I thought a governor going against the wishes of the legislature was a good thing?

I am sad to report that North Carolina's House of Representatives has just overridden the veto for HB808, a bill that bans gender affirming care for trans youth. This will have horrific effects on trans youth in the state. It now goes to the Senate for a veto override.

Tony saying the quiet part out loud: women's rights are anti-trans. Sorry, but men of any stripe are not more than women. No one should be a second class citizen. That's what equity should be, treating everyone at the same level as everyone else.
It's even more ridiculous when you look at the completely ordinary text of the order (EO 23-16):
WHEREAS, males and females possess unique and immutable biological differences that manifest prior to birth and increase as they age and experience puberty;

WHEREAS, biological differences between the sexes mean that males are, on average, bigger, stronger, and faster than females;

WHEREAS, women have achieved inspirational and significant accomplishments in education, athletics, and employment;

WHEREAS, biological differences between the sexes are enduring and may, in some circumstances, warrant the creation of separate social, educational, athletic, or other spaces in order to ensure safety and/or to allow members of each sex to succeed and thrive; and

WHEREAS, inconsistencies in court rulings and policy initiatives with respect to the definitions of "sex," "male," "female," "man," and "woman" have led to endangerment of single-sex spaces and resources, thereby necessitating clarification of certain terms.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Jim Pillen, Governor of the State of Nebraska, under and pursuant to the authority vested in the Governor by the Constitution and the laws of the State of Nebraska, do hereby order and direct the following:

1. In the promulgation of administrative rules, enforcement of administrative decisions, and the adjudication of disputes by administrative agencies, boards, and commissions, all state agencies, boards, and commissions when using the following terms shall, to the fullest extent permitted by law, define them as follows:
a. a person's "sex" is defined as his or her biological sex (either male or female) at birth;
b. a "female" is an individual whose biological reproductive system is developed to produce ova; a "male" is an individual whose biological reproductive system is developed to fertilize the ova of a female;
a. "woman" and "girl" refer to human females, and the terms "man" and "boy" refer to human males;
b. the word "mother" is defined as a parent of the female sex and "father" is defined as a parent of the male sex;

2. There are legitimate reasons to distinguish between the sexes with respect to athletics, prisons or other detention facilities, domestic violence shelters, rape crisis centers, locker rooms, restrooms, and other areas where biology, safety, and/or privacy are implicated;

3. Any public school or school district and any state agency, department, or office that collects vital statistics for the purpose of complying with antidiscrimination laws or for the purpose of gathering accurate public health, crime, economic, or other data shall identify each individual who is part of the collected data set as either male or female at birth.

This Executive Order shall become effective immediately and shall expire upon the effective date of state law governing participation of biological males in female athletics and prescribing environments where single-sex dedicated services and/or facilities should be provided.

A veto-overriding vote is a HUGE deal. Trannies BTFO.

Edit: Picrel is an excerpt from the article. Two democrats crossed party lines to vote for the ban.

The same Nebraska where a single woman is shutting down their legislature that has a Republican near-supermajority? Does Tony forget his cheering of this ongoing ignoring of the "popular vote"?

Also, "governor's edict" and "decree" is doing a lot of heavy lifting here:
Former "political blogger" Tony Reed still doesn't understand how divided government and separation of powers works.

His deranged bleating about "couldn't get it through the legislature" is of course pure bollocks on its own.

Nebraska lawmakers pass bill restricting abortion, gender-affirming care for trans minors

Tony is taking the L so well that he retweeted the nutjob Megan Hunt threatening the governor.

Who has the biological advantage? The male governor. Good men will never hit a woman, however sometimes these nasty ass women who take advantage of that do deserve a slap in the face. Or at least a drink thrown on them. Some sort of consequences that teaches them a lesson, without truly harming them.

There is truly a Tony tweet for every occasion:
Don’t forget that “fascism burns and festers in our school boards”! (Twitter, archive)

(Every time I think about this tweet my mind races wondering where else fascism might “burn and fester” — “at our bake sales”, “at little league”, “in the Chuck E Cheese ball pit”.)

Edit: Pretty sure the only thing that is burning and festering is Tony’s amhole.

I want to add to the end of this:

If you are anti-fascist, fascism doesn't only show itself in the streets with Nazis marching down the national mall.

Fascism burns and festers in our school boards, and we need you there very bit as much as we need you in the streets.

Tony's derangement has gotten so bad that he is quickly becoming the troon equivalent of a flat earther.
Do it, Canada! Copy the USA here! Between doing that and having the healthcare system that currently subsidizes killing oneself, you guys could get the 41% to become a full 100%! :semperfidelis:

These are such common sense takes in the decree that I genuinely don’t understand why it’s so egregiously offensive. What’s even funnier is that Ms. Hunt would never make physically threatening statements in the presence of a male, she’s only doing so because she’s behind a keyboard. Something tells me thousands of years of evolutionary instincts for self preservation would stop her before she threatened to drop this dude to his face.

"They start in schools ... the groups that then get organized there ... Stop [them] at the source" makes the normal process of people coming together over shared interests to participate in a politics that demands their participation sound really nefarious and underhanded.

I'd also argue that Tony is subtly implying that troons should go do violence at these since he never says exactly what they should do (let alone when going to the meetings doesn't accomplish their goals) but he's too chickenshit to say it because he's afraid his account will get suspended.

I am all for this. I want Tony's pungent autogynephile buddies to show up at school board meetings in their cat-ear headbands and miniskirts, shouting threats and waving cardboard signs demanding access to schoolchildren. That will show those fascist parents the error of their ways.
This is what AGPs like Tony doesn't get - people were fine with "trans" people as long as they thought they were just some sort of gays who wanted to dress in women's clothing (aka HSTS). It was when Tony and his squad of GigaHons started taking centre stage when people really started getting dubious about it all.

This exactly.

Public opinion moves much slower than these people realize. Troons are still riding the wave of goodwill from back when public opinion on them was, “pitiable, off putting, but overall harmless”. Most people saw Laverne Cox and that was the end of their information about troons.

I peaked when I tried to better inform myself, as requested, to be a better ally. Now everyone else is doing the same and troons are pissed.
