Tony posts the complete refutation of the very claim he is making.
To be fair to Tony, his specific claim was that "even XY people can deliver babies". But yeah, small gametes (sperm) and large gametes (eggs), and the structures that produce them, are very much a binary.

Sex, like gender, is not binary.

And sometimes, even XY people can deliver babies.

As my partner https://nitter.net/ZoAndBehold said, "You cannot define sex as binary anymore than you could legislate that the earth is flat"

Your semi-regular reminder that nature is messy and beautiful and defies reductive characterizations: a woman with XY chromosomes gave birth to healthy twins this weekend

Ari Drennen (@AriDrennen) · Aug 29, 2023 · 2:45 PM UTC
sorry, really messed up the date there. Still cool though!!

Zach / Ari Drennen doesn't link to the original story; it's just a short wire report: 'Genetically Male' Woman Gives Birth To Twins | World News | Sky News (archive)

This is almost certainly a woman with Swyer syndrome, where mutations to sex-determining genes on the Y chromosome prevent the development of testes. No testes, so no testosterone and no anti-Müllerian hormone. The lack of a second X chromosome means the gonads also do not develop into ovaries, leaving them as non-functional "streak gonads". The rest of the female reproductive system and external genitalia develop normally, though it appears in this case that the woman had uterine hypoplasia, where the uterus is underdeveloped.

Zac Elliot has an excellent short video on Swyer syndrome here:
Biology of DSDs (6) Swyer Syndrome (archive).

Anyway, back to Tony's point. You can't tell someone's sex definitively just from their chromosomes in 100% of cases — but you can in about 99.8% of cases.
Chromosomes Are Not Sexes (archive)

And, to be completely clear, almost every trans-identified person will be a normal XX female or a normal XY male, with no DSD.

You'd think if Tony were such a big drug scholar as he claims he'd have known how difficult it is to persue medical testing off label with scheduled substances: the medical cannabis lobby and doctors looking to develop ketamine depression treatments or mdma as a therapy aid have been working on this for years. Nobody in their right mind thinks some bearded dude in size 13 stilettos is going to waltz in there and blow the court's minds so hard they overturn literal decades of precedent

And those people had much higher quality research and FAR more qualified advocates than the troon lobby.

Of course I doubt Tony knows about any of this because his epic psychonaut dealer persona was a cover shallower than his stinkditch, to cover the awkward social outcast he's always been

Why weren't they anchored? Or is that a optional extra?
Probably because if they're anything like breast implants they need removing in around a decade before they calcify the tissue around them, and anchoring them to the bone means rather more work with a bone saw next to a lot of nerves and blood vessels than even a troon plastic surgeon thinks he can handwave

Fucking lol when they have to be removed and he ends up looking like a tranny bulldog

Zac Elliot himself weighs in on Drennen's tweet, and doesn't mince his words:

Your semi-regular reminder that sex is universally defined by reproduction function, and that this woman, despite having 95% XY chromosomes, developed a female body plan due to her GENETICS, able to gestate and give birth. She is not male.

This is not a case of a man giving birth. This is a case of an unambiguous female with a genetic disorder giving birth through egg donation.

Zach Elliott (@zaelefty) · Aug 29, 2023 · 5:04 PM UTC
Furthermore, this case has nothing to do with trans-identified males who wish to give birth. They have a MALE reproductive system and physiology that cannot support a pregnancy.

This woman has a FEMALE reproductive system. That is why she was able to support a pregnancy.

Zac definitely looks better with the hair cut. His long hair had no shape and he looked a backwoods meth addict.

Do you think Tony's been traning Zac to stop showing his teeth when he smiles? Zac smiling that way gives Tony teeth dysphoria.

Zacs definitely being groomed to be the tranny AOC, so I'm pretty sure someone else arranged this haircut for him. Soon I bet at political engagements Zac will stop looking like a thrift store tard because someone else is picking out his clothes for him.

He's gone from 'struggling addict' to 'male extra in mallrats'

its so fucking depressing that this even needs to be said.

that poor woman, i'd be fuming and rightly offended if i was her. its one thing when they use arguments based on weird sexual characteristics of phylogenetically distant species, or well understoof edge cases in people in general, but using this specific woman who almost certainly has not consented to having her case argued in this way, is another level.

it'd be different if she personally had made this argument (though obviously she'd still be completely wrong) but as its not been postd i'm guessing she hasn't. let her enjoy the beautiful gifts she's had in privacy.

Here's a good illustration of why the "trans kids" argument is so important to adult trans-identified males, with Tony claiming that his transition didn't have a sexual component because he was a child.

Yes, I'm sure my transition was all about sexuality when I was 8 years old and realizing that I was not a boy, or when I first said I was a girl at 10 years old in my online friend groups, too scared to tell my parents.

Tullip is one of the most ridiculous anti-trans accounts.

The biggest lie in the trans movement is that transition has nothing to do with sexuality.

Transition has everything to do with sexuality.

Male, female, trauma, straight, gay, bi, autistic, AGP, AAP, HSTS, doesn't matter. It's always about sexuality.

ALWAYS

Tony, however, has previously admitted that he transitioned because of a fetish:
I'd spotted before that Tony had expressed some Deep Thoughts on autogynephilia, and sort of passed over them, but I just noticed that he admitted it is a fetish for him:

Ok. We gotta have a conversation about "fetish" and the trans community.

Being trans is NOT a fetish. However, there's a reason why the word gets weaponized.

It causes trans people to self-question and say "what if this is all just a fetish" as a reason to not transition. 🧵

Erin Reed (@ErinInTheMorn) · Aug 4, 2021 · 9:04 PM UTC
If we don't start having honest conversations about our histories and how we process pre-transition shame and guilt, then there will continue to be huge swaths of trans people that feel like transition is "not legitimate" for them because "they just have a disgusting fetish."

Erin Reed (@ErinInTheMorn) · Aug 4, 2021 · 9:05 PM UTC
Fetishes are spaces where very few people, if anyone, ever enter.

They are one of the few "safe spaces" any of us have to express things that are otherwise super guilt-ridden, shameful, etc.

A LOT of trans people handle repression of their identities this way.

Erin Reed (@ErinInTheMorn) · Aug 4, 2021 · 9:06 PM UTC
When I was seeing my therapist, I told her how when I was 12, I KNEW I was trans and went by Erin online everywhere. But as I got older, the spaces in which I felt free to be my gender shrank more and more, until the "fetish" box was the only place it existed.

Shamefully.

Erin Reed (@ErinInTheMorn) · Aug 4, 2021 · 9:09 PM UTC
This process is known as "extinction." The spaces in which our traits, even whole identities, shrink as we discover more and more places in which those traits or identities cannot be expressed.

Fuck, for some of us that "fetish" box is what kept us from going extinct entirely.

Erin Reed (@ErinInTheMorn) · Aug 4, 2021 · 9:09 PM UTC
That's because the "fetish" zone is one of the few places very few people enter, and therefore is one of last places where an identity can live without facing extinction.

Erin Reed (@ErinInTheMorn) · Aug 4, 2021 · 9:11 PM UTC
This is where Blanchard erred the most.

Being trans does not arise from having some sort of "AGP fetish."

More likely, the fetish space arises from having nowhere else to put our identities without being grilled for it.

Erin Reed (@ErinInTheMorn) · Aug 4, 2021 · 9:12 PM UTC
Y'all. If we keep shaming trans people for EVER acting on their own gender in a sexual manner, we're doing the bigots work for them.

You don't have to be agents of Blanchard himself.

Being trans isn't a fetish. Society forces some of us to treat it as one to live.

Tony claims that "when [he] was 12, [HE] KNEW [he] was trans", but this is a common claim by autogynephiles. Here's what J Michael Bailey has said about this phenomenom:
J Michael Bailey said:
“Autogynephiles frequently mention having a longing to be a girl that begins in childhood,” says Bailey. “But the first outward manifestation of it usually crops up in early adolescence, when they discover that it turns them on to wear women’s clothing. What you do not see, despite frequent claims to the contrary, is evidence that these folks were notably feminine in childhood.”

I will be nice and say that Zach’s hair looks nice like that, and he picked the perfect cut for the amount of effort he puts into it.

Love the recaps. Tony is cocky enough to mansplain how it’s actually ok that he’s a degenerate coomer and what’s more, you should actually feel sorry for him when he tells you he’s a degenerate coomer. And somehow this nigger ends up on news segments bitching about expanding and maintaining access to medicalization for children. He doesn’t realize what it says about his porn consumption and that he was likely groomed when he admits that he was a degenerate coomer at 10 but I guess we can’t talk about porn and groomers. His whole existence is a coping mechanism for explaining why making all the wrong choices is good actually. Journalists as always deserve the rope.

Oh, then we should be able to name and define the various points other than male and female.

Note that Tony, and these people normally, don't actually reject the binary, they establish it as the two poles of the spectrum they propose. They're really positing a spectrum that goes from male at one end, becomes increasingly less male and then transitions over to female eventually. This essentializes the binary rather than rejects it. Note also that this fits into now ancient feminist critique that "female" is defined purely as "not male", that male is the default and the "other" is defined by how it differs. Placing sex on a spectrum functionalizes this as we can now say that you are, say, 69% male (nice) and 31% female because of what (abstract) traits you do and do not have. In this regard they are taking the social construct of gender, moving it from the abstract to the concrete by taking stereotypes as the basis for creating a statistical model of gender. This is something that even conservatives and reactionaries about gender would not be willing to do as most of them will concede that even if women should be in the kitchen, barefoot, pregnant and silent that there may be exceptions, once you model it as a spectrum this cannot be the case because exceptions will be outliers and must be dismissed from the model.

Even if sex were an ordinal variable we should still be able to define the other non-male and non-female points on it. Anne Fausto-Sterling attempted this but few others have bothered because they don't really subscribe to the idea that there's other sexes, they're merely doing rhetorical gambits on an ad hoc basis thinking they're smart enough to keep the plates spinning.

This all is just the religious counter-proposal to the rationalism and reason of the Enlightenment, that supernatural things are hypothetically not disproved since they may exist beyond our capabilities to measure let alone understand. The troons aren't this smart so they don't even attempt to suggest there may be unmeasurable sexes like skbtsb and uiwgbr that are simply beyond our comprehension. Personally, I am willing to be that intellectual trailblazer and will from now on speak for those who cannot themselves speak. Tony shouldn't transmedicalize and genocide the people I am representing by denying their right to exist as sexes outside the binary.

As for Zac's "wisdom" Tony felt the need to quote, being binary or not would not be how you "define" sex anyway. That would simply be the results found in the post-definition measurement. Begging troons to learn about the scientific method sometime.

Troons especially should learn that it's better to be thought a fool than open one's mouth and remove all doubt.

I must say that I am endlessly amused by Tony's nonsense about the Alabama troons applying for en banc review in the 11th Circuit. Tony and the rest of the troons seem blissfully unaware that the en banc 11th Circuit has already weighed in on troon issues. The Florida bathroom case was 7 - 4. There is no reason to think that breakdown would be any different here.

Don't worry they have a plan if that doesn't work, they'll appeal to the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court will be forced to apply precedent like the Miller Test, McCulloch v. Maryland and Atkins v. Virginia because the rules say the Supreme Court is not allowed to not agree. For one thing, that'd be transphobic.

My dad taught middle school for over a decade in the 90s-2000s. He taught both in the regular school and the school they sent the delinquents to.

You know how many times he came home and said there was a tranny in class?

If you guessed zero, you'd be correct.

You know what he did talk about? The number of sexually explicit notes he confiscated as well as finding students getting blow jobs. These kids were early teens. This was well before anyone had internet so the porn consumption of these teens were limited to Playboys they found. Or underwear catalogs. If it was that bad then I shudder to think of it now.

Trannies in school just wasn't a thing two decades ago. It just wasn't. You know why, of course. Because it's a social contagion spread by porn.

"Society is tolerating us increasingly so", he really is so out of touch with reality it's like he lives in Opposite Land. Tony's mind is so drug fucked (including from HRT) and/or he never touches grass so much that he really can't see the tide turning massively both IRL and online. Utter denial. People are peaking everywhere, a LOT more from the LGB as well. People are becoming sick of your shit mate, keep pushing HRT on kids and put the final nail in the coffin please.

It's batshit because in the very county he lives in, one of the wealthiest and simultaneously hyperliberal counties in the country, is having a big news grabbing conflict about pushing troonery in schools. If MoCo, his adoptive backyard, is having trouble with this, then what does he think the rest of the country is doing?

Honestly he's just sticking his head in the sand and denying the problem exists.
