Frankly, I haven't seen any proof that troons actually do kill themselves. The fact that I don't know the troon suicide stats outside of that 41% claim just from troons repeating it is evidence to me that they either don't exist or don't stand out. Just another identity to adopt and do nothing regarding. At least idiots like Tony actually cut off their dicks because they think vaginas are just random flesh holes rather than parts of intricate systems from millions of years of evolution. Their current argument is that the suicides are from society being mean and transphobic to them, not the troonery itself.

Yet we don’t see the same levels of suicidality among, say, women in Afghanistan or Uyghurs in China. Curious.

There's reason to think that it's elevated compared to age- and sex-matched controls from the general population, but I've not seen anything to show that it's higher than people with serious mental illness more generally.

My favorite, Jake Alley, has complained many times over the years that when he came out as trans no girls immediately took him shopping. (Jake has never had any real world friends, btw.) He considers this proof of the insidious transphobia bigots have spread.

I find it interesting in part because the age of most of these troons has been in an era where their sources of all knowledge, children's shows and other young adult media, were decidedly no longer representing girls in that way and increasingly so in what would eventually become most popularly shown in Mean Girls. (But there were plenty of antecedents, Clueless, the cartoon Recess, etc.) Media had rather decisively gone in favor of non-typical gender roles by the 1980's, something troons regularly celebrate in paeans for Samus, Ripley, Patti from Doug, etc., but troons have a seemingly innate desire to rebel against tolerance in favor for more rigid, earlier roles that they insist society is imposing on us that they (and everyone else) must adhere to. (See also: "anti-LGBT hate increasing" as same-sex marriage became overnight tolerated and anti-sodomy laws were abolished in their lifetime.)

You almost would start to think that the gender beliefs they ascribe to all others are simply projection of their own personal gender biases. Thankfully, the science has disproven this.
