Instead, Tony's status relies entitrely on the fact that political correctness has socially conditioned large swaths of the public and the woke media that it is "impolite" or "bad form" to tell a troon that he is wrong or that he doesn't know what he is talking about. Thus, Tony's status was artificially inflated by an absence of criticism. Not because criticism was unwarranted, but because people were afraid to do it.
