Abstract​

TikTok is a popular social media networking site among students. The features of this application such as collaborating videos, and duet has attracted and impressed billions of users all around the world and in Pakistan too. This research has observed how TikTok addiction is affecting the mental health of university students. This study has also explored the mediating role of academic performance between the relationship of TikTok addiction and mental health of university students. Depression and anxiety are taken as the parameters to measure the mental health of university students. Total 400 students enrolled in University of Central Punjab selected through purposive convenient sampling technique were surveyed to collect data. The results revealed that TikTok addiction affects the mental health of university students. Furthermore, this study serves as a base to create awareness among the students that TikTok addiction may be harmful to them in several ways. Students must be encouraged to limit time on using TikTok and must focus on their education.

2) China, in 2017, passed a law on National Security that includes a clause that may compel any business that resides in China or hosts data in China to be subject to China's MSS and hand over any data they have, for any reason, including no reason. This requirement is also applicable extraterritorially for Chinese businesses operating abroad, so you don't even necessarily have to host data in China to be subject to the law. MSS is China's equivalent of the CIA.

For anyone who has a memory longer than a goldfish (aKa, not Erin), this is almost assuredly why Trump blew a fucking gasket and mulled a TikTok ban back in 2020.

A poll breaking down which care was acceptable would be like the great "how does Britain feel towards troons?" poll where almost everyone checked they were eh or ok with them as long as they didn't use the bathrooms & lockers as the sex they identified as, especially if they were presurgery. There was another issue but in spite of the overwhelming tolerance and even acceptance, troons cried super foul for not seeing them as their totally true gender.
