He's braindead enough to say "Trans is the next step in human evolution" like the Preadator did with autism.

Tony tax: TikTok video from last night claiming that trans-identified people have always existed.
So my brain was processing this and how he got here. I think he consulted this heavily pro-trans article:
Screenshot_20230912_010931_Samsung Internet.jpg
Check out this applying today's thoughts to the past.

Hilariously, this article from 2016 talks about how the third gender might just be "Men who are passive during sex" a.k.a. homos (and maybe women not passive?). Almost as if gay men have been seen as "other" for a long time. It's still hard to apply what we think of as LGBT to the past, there's always been same gender attracted people but the cultural attitudes surrounding it fluctuated with each culture. ESPECIALLY FOUR THOUSAND YEARS AGO when writing was still new. It's a long, long time, and it can be hard to connect the dots and place ourselves in their shoes.

Also this dipshit could at least say "The cult of Inanna", or, you know, Akkadian Empire. Like, not just a nebulous "there were trans people somewhere in this time period", give culture and context. I though he might have been pulling it out of his ass since googling "trangendered priestess" could lead to modern day trans priesthood of different faiths, dumbass. He could have even elaborated on it to give a greater sense of what it is but that's too much work and god knows he'd cry if someone corrected his pronounciation of a brown people goddess.

Also this dipshit could at least say "The cult of Inanna", or, you know, Akkadian Empire.
He does name Enheduanna, who was the priestess of the Ishtar / Inanna cult (and the daughter of Sargon of Akkad), but obviously not the deity herself.

But as usual Tony does not attempt to understand the past and imposes his own prejudices on it.

Inanna / Ishtar was a deity of both fertility and war, and it’s this that gives rise to modern attempt to force transgenderism on her. Fertility was considered a female concern and war a male concern, so her cultists would dress half in male clothing (with sword) and half in female clothing.

From p170-171 in Gender and Aging in Mesopotamia: the Gilgamesh Epic and Other Ancient Literature, by Rivkah Harris:
IMG_3561.jpegIMG_3562.jpeg
Rivkah Harris said:
The chief participants and actors in the goddess's cult are well known by name: assinnu, habbubu, kurgarrû, kulu'u, pilpilu. What is uncertain is how best to describe them. There is even ambiguity about their sexuality--whether they were eunuchs, hermaphrodites, or simply transvestites. The Assyrian Dictionary describes the assinnu as seeming "to have functioned mainly in the cult of Ishtar, to have sung specific songs and dressed in distinctive garments. There is no specific evidence that [the assinnu] was a eunuch or a homosexual." The kurgarrû (as well as assinnu and kulu'u) are described as "performing games, plays, dances and music as part of the ritual (of the great festivals). There is no evidence that they were eunuchs or homosexuals. However, in the Descent of Ishtar the reference to the kurgarrû as neither male nor female may indicate they were transvestites performing in female apparel. On the other hand, the mention of daggers seems to suggest that they were devotees of Ishtar's performing some sword dance." Through their war dance, Groneberg observes, they reenact the attribute of Ishtar as warrior. And self-mutilation may well have been part of their ritual:

The male prostitutes comb their hair before her . . .
They decorate the napes of their necks with colored bands ...
They gird themselves with the sword belt, the "arm of battle"
Their right side they adorn with women's clothing … Their left side they cover with men's clothing .
With jump ropes and colored cords they compete before her ...
The young men, carrying hoops, sing to her ...
The ascending kurgarra priests grasped the sword ...
The one who covers the sword with blood, he sprinkles blood ...
He pours out blood on the dais of the throne room.

Their transvestism simulated the androgyny of Inanna-Ishtar. It was perhaps the inversion of the male/female binary opposition that thereby neutralized this opposition. By emulating their goddess who was both female and male, they shattered the boundary between the sexes. Thus at her festival time the full range of human emotions might be freely manifested without regard to the stereotypical notions of masculinity and femininity. The function of transvestism, as M. Eliade observed, was "a coming out of one's self, a transcending of one's own historically controlled situation .. a paradoxical situation impossible to maintain in profane time, in an historical epoch, but which is important to reconstitute periodically in order to restore, if only for a brief moment, the initial completeness, the intact source of holiness and power." The cultic personnel of the goddess in their costumes, words, and acts had but one goal: "To delight Ishtar's heart, give themselves up to (otherwise) for[bidden] actions."

Inanna-Ishtar thus cuts across socioeconomic and gender distinctions: "Be it slave, unattached girl, 'Ishtar' preserves her. Women and men indeed revere her."

Perhaps C. Geertz's words best explain her enormous and abiding popularity: "The strange opacity of certain empirical events, the dumb senselessness of intense or inexorable pain, and the enigmatic unaccountability of gross inequity all raise the uncomfortable suspicion that perhaps the world, and hence man's life in the world, has no genuine order at all -no empirical regularity, no form, no moral coherence. And the religious response is the same: the formulation, by means of symbols, or an image of such a genuine order which will account for and even celebrate the perceived ambiguities, puzzles and paradoxes in human experience."

Edit: There's an interesting article by archaeologist Yağmur Heffron summarising Inanna/Ishstar here: Ancient Mesopotamian Gods and Goddesses - Inana/Ištar (goddess) (archive)

Tony you actual retard, I was a nerdy little schoolkid into history and knew damn well about Elagabalus and what a goddamn perverted fuckup he was.

He was a teenager who was able to indulge every possible fetish or urge he had and in the process left the Empire to rot for his brief four-year reign: he literally prostituted himself and was more interested in endless sex and hypergamy than actually ruling the Empire, which saw its currency devalue further as part of the Crisis of the Third Century. Oh wait, I forgot to mention his flagrant disrespect for the then-dominant religious institutions, and such open contempt alongside his degeneracy only helped pave the way for the Christians to become a majority in the next century, as regular people got tired of the elites like him and his successors being decadent fuckwads who cared more for luxury than governing. The stereotype of the overly pious and restrained - some might say repressed - Christian culture of medieval Europe can thu be considered a course correction to the perceived decadence and moral cesspool that was the late Imperium Romanum.

Seriously Tony. You couldn't have taken the time to actually read up on this guy? Realize he's not quite the best example you could've chosen?
I feel like when you get down to it, the number of prominent historical figures who were actually trans hovers around zero.
Also this dipshit could at least say "The cult of Inanna", or, you know, Akkadian Empire. Like, not just a nebulous "there were trans people somewhere in this time period", give culture and context.
His audience don’t care. They aren’t historians, they’re just looking to validate the boners they get when they put on a dress. Tony could just make something up out of whole cloth and they’d lap it up.

I found this on the trans posting their Ls thread. This person believes that simply by virtue of being trans, they can be refused any and all medical care without consequence. Rather than attempt to take responsibility for their health, they’ve just given up. The reason why? Our own hero gets an honorable mention for this dumbass idea. Transphobic Tony out here killing these niggas lol. Subscribe to support his work!

Long COVID is going to be the new fibrosis/chronic fatigue isn't it ? Stupid unprovable diagnosis for every grifter who wants benefits

I did do a little research into the claim trannies were holy in ancient Mesopotamia. What has been shown in the ancient world in terms of the archaeological record was that many societies were more gender egalitarian than first believed - a more aggressively sex-segregated society shows up later, in Assyria, and then begins to spread slowly throughout the East and West.

The Cult of Innana was led by a princess, Ennheduanna, who was also literate. She is regarded, as of now, as the world’s first self-named author. The claim that trannies are holy comes from, as Geranium mentioned, a practice in her cult that may have involved homosexual/effeminate male priests who dressed in women’s garb to embody the dual aspects of the goddess. However, this is unclear. ”Transgenderism” in ancient and early modern cultures, as trannies are fond of defining it, tends to involve gay males or eunuchs. There are also many examples of women who dressed as men or pursued male-oriented tasks, but trannies rarely talk about this as historical transgenderism.

Tony tax: TikTok video from last night claiming that trans-identified people have always existed.
. . .
Anyway, if you think this TikTok sounds familiar, it's because he did one three months ago, on June 5, that was almost identical.
Tony said:
I'm going to fast forward a good 600 more years to the transgender kid, lucy Anderson, a black trans woman who at the age of seven years old, told her parents that she was a girl. They brought her to a physician and the physician looked to her parents and said, there's nothing wrong with her. Let her be. And so they allowed her to live her life. She became a famous socialite in town. And when they arrested her, the town's people marched down to the jail cell because they had a party to throw that night and they needed their best cook. They demanded her release and they released her. Transgender people are nothing new.
. . .
Fast forward 2000 more years. Lucy Anderson, a black trans woman in 1890, transitioned as a kid. She became the best known cook and socialite in her town in California. And whenever she was arrested and they found out her assigned sex at birth, all of the townspeople gathered up and demanded that she be released because they had a feast to throw that night. We have always been here.
And what was Lucy arrested for?

Bootlegging and pandering. Several times over.

One of those times she was arrested it was a banker who bailed her out because she was hosting a party for him. The entire town didn't march down to the county jail.

(Two of the times she was arrested she claimed the cops left the door of her house open and she was robbed! ACAB! PLEASE DONATE TO REPLACE FURS!!)

And they didn't find out she was a man until 1945 - when she was arrested for prostitution along with all the girls in her brothel because a serviceman complained he got VD from one of the girls. They all had to have medical checks to see if the serviceman was telling the truth, including Lucy the madam.

That's when she was found to be a man. And no esteemed person bailed her out that time - it was her "sister" Willie Naygale.

Transgender people have always been here, sure, as degenerate leeches who prey on others.

Edit: Because I'm not done sperging.

I'm going to fast forward 1300 more years, and still 700 years ago, colonymous Ben Colonymus, the Jewish poet. Now, we don't know how colonymus would identify if they were here today, but we do know that we have them to think for the very first description of gender dysphoria, where they lamented to God that they were not born a woman and that they were destined to suffer on this earth because they didn't have access to becoming a woman. And boy, do I wish I could go back and give Colonymous bin, colonymous estrogen.
Tony obviously knows as much about Judaism as he does the legislative process.

Kalonymus ben Kalonymus was a Jewish philosopher, writer, and translator from an esteemed family in Provence, France.

The work Tony is referring to is a Prayer for Transformation from his poem Evan Bohan.

In it he laments being born a man because he has to follow all of G-d's 613 mitzvot and dedicate his life to Torah study and live a life of "restrictions and constraints" while women get to learn useful things and work and only have three commandments.

The end lines are "Since I have learned from our tradition that we bless both, the good and the bitter I will bless in a voice hushed and weak: blessed are you YHVH who has not made me a woman."

The last line is a blessing said by men (women thank Hashem for "making them as they are") but it has a specific meaning that relates to the entire poem.

However, someone else on the internet can explain this better than I can, so here's a quote:
In comparing the phrasing, “for not making me a woman” to the less controversial, “for making me a man,” one must consider this blessing in conjunction with the two blessings (said by both men and women) that precede it in the prayer book, “Blessed are you for not having made me a gentile” and “Blessed are you for not having made me a slave.” Through this trio of blessings a Jewish man expresses his happiness and appreciation for the opportunity to connect to G-d by attempting to fulfill a set of obligations of which a small percentage are specific only to men. The Torah assigns missions to respective groups of people Male, free Jews have responsibilities not shared by others. The blessing, “for not making me a woman” differentiates a man’s mission vis a vis the particular mission assigned to the opposite sex.

A Jew’s mission in life, as expressed through the mitzvot, is impossible to complete, since it involves endless levels of refinement and self-growth. The negative phrasing of all three blessings, “for not making me a gentile, a slave and a woman” conveys the humility associated with shouldering such an enormous yet meaningful task, while preserving the sense of gratitude for such a profound life purpose. By contrast, the opposite phrasing, “Blessed are you Hashem for making me Jewish, free and a man,” could reflect a more egocentric position, which might lead to feelings of self-satisfaction and disinterest in further spiritual growth.

So basically, this poem is about what every troon wants - life on easy mode.

(Note: I don't think Kalonymus was trans, he was just frustrated by the expectations placed upon him.)

Quoting myself like the narcissist I am about Tobias Lawson / Lucy Hicks Anderson, from when Tony posted a TikTok video about him in July 2022:
Nothing more female than renting out women’s bodies for profit, deffo. There’s a hilarious article I found where it’s like “he saved up his money, and opened a brothel”. Support black-trans-owned sex slave markets, bigots!

Tony's complaining about the liability imposed on Missouri gender quacks by their newly enacted law that stops pediatric medical transition.

Sad news out of Washington U's trans clinic. It will suspend care for trans youth due to the new law in Missouri.

Though the law exempts those already receiving care, it adds new liability provisions making it nearly impossible to do so.

"Grandfather clauses" are an illusion.

Many of us reported that these liability provisions would result in shutdowns. This was the anticipated conclusion. Expect more adult liability provisions as well.

What they can't ban, they'll finish off with TRAP-like laws - a page out of the anti-abortion playbbook.

"Though the law exempts those already receiving care, it adds new liability provisions making it nearly impossible to do so." But I'm so confused, I thought that "gender-affirming care" is "life-saving" (a); the reason why nearly 100% of kids on puberty-blockers proceed to cross-sex hormones was because docs are accurately diagnosing (a) them; and that there is only one detransitioner (a) in the world. What have these doctors got to worry about? Surely none of these children is going to turn round and sue their life-saving doctors for the minor inconvenience of being sterilised?

Here's the relevant portion of the Missouri law:
6. (1) The prescription or administration of cross sex hormones or puberty-blocking drugs to an individual under eighteen years of age for the purpose of a gender transition shall be considered grounds for a cause of action against the health care provider. The provisions of chapter 538 shall not apply to any action brought under this subsection.

(2) An action brought pursuant to this subsection shall be brought within fifteen years of the individual injured attaining the age of twenty-one or of the date the treatment of the injury at issue in the action by the defendant has ceased, whichever is later.

(3) An individual bringing an action under this subsection shall be entitled to a rebuttable presumption that the individual was harmed if the individual is infertile following the prescription or administration of cross-sex hormones or puberty-blocking drugs and that the harm was a direct result of the hormones or drugs prescribed or administered by the health care provider. Such presumption may be rebutted only by clear and convincing evidence.

(4) In any action brought pursuant to this subsection, a plaintiff may recover economic and noneconomic damages and punitive damages, without limitation to the amount and no less than five hundred thousand dollars in the aggregate. The judgment against a defendant in an action brought pursuant to this subsection shall be in an amount of three times the amount of any economic and noneconomic damages or punitive damages assessed. Any award of damages in an action brought pursuant to this subsection to a prevailing plaintiff shall include attorney's fees and court costs.

(5) An action brought pursuant to this subsection may be brought in any circuit court of this state.

(6) No health care provider shall require a waiver of the right to bring an action pursuant to this subsection as a condition of services. The right to bring an action by or through an individual under the age of eighteen shall not be waived by a parent or legal guardian.

(7) A plaintiff to an action brought under this subsection may enter into a voluntary agreement of settlement or compromise of the action, but no agreement shall be valid until approved by the court. No agreement allowed by the court shall include a provision regarding the nondisclosure or confidentiality of the terms of such agreement unless such provision was specifically requested and agreed to by the plaintiff.

(8) If requested by the plaintiff, any pleadings, attachments, or exhibits filed with the court in any action brought pursuant to this subsection, as well as any judgments issued by the court in such actions, shall not include the personal identifying information of the plaintiff. Such information shall be provided in a confidential information filing sheet contemporaneously filed with the court or entered by the court, which shall not be subject to public inspection or availability.

Check out this applying today's thoughts to the past.
Yes, indeed, "outside the gender binary" only makes sense if you've established what the gender binary is and nobody seems to have identified when this was done by who and why. Human history is full of blatantly wrong explanations like how putting virgins in volcanos will bring a good harvest, so it raises the question of why, if we're trusting the SCIENCE from experts like Jack Turban we would look to cultural practices among people who believed other blatantly wrong things? They also thought slavery was natural, surely we should look to that as well. Oh and castes by birth and polygamy and exposure/exile of infants and mass murder/torture of opposing tribes for all kinds of stupid reasons and...

Tony is plagiarizing himself attacking a specific straw man of "trans people didn't exist before 2010" rather than the more accurate general claim people are making that "delusional people have always existed (and often in ways that are trendy among subsets of the population)" while confirming the actual claim being made. If Tony is not advocating that we should adopt other ancient delusional practices then he needs to explain why this specific one is timeless, he cannot because he is a moron who likely is incapable of making a coherent argument.

Look at those man mitts.

I will say people not clocking troons in the past is probably because the idea that a man would dress as a woman would be so absurd it wouldn't even be on people's radar as a possibility. Maybe like 3 years ago, I would have a hard time clocking pooners. Now my mind has adjusted & I can pick them out with ease.

On another note almost all cultures that had a third gender, it was exclusively reserved for gay/effeminate men. It was their "progressive" way of saying gay men aren't actually men. Notice how none of these cultures accepted two men together. Secondly , it makes sense that these cultures made them priests or shaman. Everyone had a role to fill, since they weren't "men" and they couldn't fill a woman's role of having children, they found an open role for them.

None of these cultures would have accepted a "trans lesbian"

If the day ever comes where the U.S will completely ban "gender affirming care" for minors, i really want to see how Tony will cope. Will he somehow claim that the entire medical field got peer pressured by nazis and that the "true medical experts"still supports transitioning as the best cure? Will he start saying he's getting phone calls from anonymous trans teens that'll tell him they're ending their lives? So many straws to grasp at.

Yes and yes.

If there's a federal decision to end pediatric medical transition, Tony will claim that the government is imposing quack medicine on the heroic gender docs, that it's Aktion T4 all over again, etc etc etc.

Tony's previously claimed during the state-level hearings that he's getting calls from parents saying their kid attempted suicide because of it. Zac has already made a big deal on national TV about how one troon — allegedly; X to doubt — attempted to commit suicide while watching the hearings. So, yes, Tony will absolutely exploit or invent such incidents for his own goals.

The one path that will take the ground out from under Tony will be if the medical associations change their tune. He has hitched his wagon to the political capture of the AMA, AAP and Endocrine Society. Maybe he'll retreat into the proverbial hills and caves insisting the war is not over, but personally I think he'll just go for another personal reinvention.

(Edit: If Tony settles on a detransition grift you're all buying my drinks at KiwiCon.)

"(6) No health care provider shall require a waiver of the right to bring an action pursuant to this subsection as a condition of services. The right to bring an action by or through an individual under the age of eighteen shall not be waived by a parent or legal guardian."
OUCH!!!
Now that's a kick in the balls to any doctor practice. Combined with the fact that kids can sue up to 15 years after treatment, the time it usually takes for a transition to happen and a detransitioner to form, every medical provider is running and screaming from youth transitioning. Erin Reed should look at this positively: we likely have not tried all the best cures for gender dsyphoria, so this gives scientists time to try and research more effective medicine and ways to make sure their patients are much less likely to be unsatisfied in 15 years. Even if "HORMONES ARE THE ONLY WAY TO GO" in his head, drugs and treatments can be improved. It's not like better methods of trans health treatment can't be found, it's that too many trans people basically idolize their named medications to the point they become sacred objects that they'll take even if a better solution is found that doesn't say give them high stroke risk or hard kindey damage if they're trans masc on T.

Erin Reed can also look at this and learn nothing as usual and wring his hands over how this will hurt his patreon if he doesn't spin it the right way.

They also thought slavery was natural, surely we should look to that as well.
ERIN REED BELIEVES WE SHOULD STOP USING TOILETS AND GO BACK TO THE OLD WAYS, SHITTING IN PITS.

If Tony is not advocating that we should adopt other ancient delusional practices then he needs to explain why this specific one is timeless, he cannot because he is a moron who likely is incapable of making a coherent argument.
This is pretty much one of the key pillars of his cowdom: his attempts to make himself seem smart only make him seem dimmer in the eyes of those who are paying attention or know a bit on what he's talking about. But being smart and impressing people is his biggest ego boost in his mind, coming off as a true guru to the people that they admire and adore and know that if they don't listen their lives will be hell because Erin Reed KNOWS the best for them & everyone else. He's a much subtler cow compared to others but he's interesting to watch him unfold. It's weird to see a cow only have mild chimp outs compared to, well, most cows.

None of these cultures would have accepted a "trans lesbian"
I can't imagine what the conversation of jobs would be like. I just imagine today's troons attempting to do any priestly activity that isn't partying or telling people what to do, like keeping a temple clean or sacred rituals being preformed on a schedule. Or going outside. I'd imagine mass bullying or riots if some of the troons tried to claim more women Goddesses as trans instead of staying in their fucking designated shitting space.

What I want to know is how the churnschenda priestesses who totally ruled Mesopotamia survived without "life-saving medical care"? I assume there are copious historical records of Mesopotamian trannies throwing themselves off buildings because the local medicine man had not yet discovered a way to deliver exogenous hormones?

The Cult of Innana was led by a princess, Ennheduanna, who was also literate. She is regarded, as of now, as the world’s first self-named author. The claim that trannies are holy comes from, as Geranium mentioned, a practice in her cult that may have involved homosexual/effeminate male priests who dressed in women’s garb to embody the dual aspects of the goddess.

There's an aspect in Scandinavian paganism where crossdressing is associated with certain forms of magic because both are associated with disrupting the natural order of things. Magic transgressed boundaries you did not find in daily life. Ironically the whole thing is based on the belief that there are clear boundaries that exist in the first place.

Older religions didn't really distinguish between "taboo" and "holy" as much as modern society and monotheism does.

None of this shit is even internally consistent: how can Innana be revered for being able to turn a man into a woman--clearly a miraculous, amazing thing--if the whole construct of "man" and "woman" is a modern colonialist Western construction?
