A new thread (linked below) by prominent trans activist

inadvertently makes the best possible case against pediatric gender transition. Recall that the premise behind the Dutch experiment with puberty blockers was that adults who transition in adulthood often do not achieve adequate levels of functioning in key areas of life, even if they are subjectively satisfied. In other words, the Dutch deemed pediatric transition necessary because adult transition too often failed to help gender dysphoric people (primarily men). The Dutch theorized that these difficulties in life functioning were linked to suboptimal cosmetic outcomes--the effects of testosterone in puberty are extremely difficult to reverse--and that the solution was better cosmetic outcomes through early intervention. But here, in this thread, Erin Reed disputes the key premise behind pediatric transition. According to Reed, who medically transitioned as an adult, adults who transition as adults do achieve happiness, regret rates are almost nonexistent, and we have the evidence to prove it! Another notable activist,
@assignedmedia, agrees (see screenshot).
