I don't think all trans people will regret their transition. For AGPs, they'll be happy if they always have their penes and bobs, no vagene. For those MtFs with a high sex drive to the point it's insanely distracting, life is much calmer and easier for them. For the blissfully unaware autists, they will continue to mostly be unaware unless it affects a particular interst of theirs. For narcs, borderlines, and muchies, it is merely a costume change. For very few people, it is genuinely what they wanted instead of a cure for something else or to join any friend group that would accept them.
There's still a lot of regret and more importantly, resentment out there. Resentment manifests in more subtle, subconcious ways, like being extra mean to young transitioners who "pass" or are prettier than them, cis people having a much easier time getting a date than them, and general bitterness towards others and their lives. It's easy for them to say you're subconciously attracted to troons/you want to become a troon, but totally not real when we imply any resentment or disappointment would ever manifest without them realizing it. As for regret, Mr. Reed and friends brutally unperson and metaphorically murder every single detransitioner or even malcontent in their personal friendship group. They don't know detransitioners, they know their trans friend who was brutally detransed and brainwashed by TERF ideology, violently surpressing their transness (as it is innate and immutable). Or, of course, they were a TERF plant or absolute retard for thinking transitioning would fix their problems. Compassionate, thoughtful women, obviously.
Erin Reed doesn't regret his transition. I don't know if he ever will. To regret something means you have to accept that you chose an action that you believe was the wrong choice, and guess who is never wrong? Only painful stuff like amhole and FFS might spark regret, but more along the lines of resentment instead. If Erin Regrets transitioning, he'll blame it on being manipulated by wider society and whoever the fuck else he feels like blaming that day. He's mad that women won't fuck him, he's mad men might call him a faggot, he's mad he has to dilate, but these were things forced upon him by circumstances or other people.

But everything in that field is written like this and is just as meaningless and useless and self-contradictory, the entire point is to cry about how you hate the law and wish it didn't exist and was replaced with your personal fiat. It's still a recognized field (for some reason) and it's not strange to see a law school publishing critical legal studies papers.
So it's a way to get an opinion piece published and peer reviewed?
