The analogy makes complete sense and has been used before for a lot of shit, like the Tumblr exodus to Twitter and as a result them shitting up the platform. I'd somewhat consider myself as a Tarkov refugee to an extent, where I had some slight interest in GZW until BSG completely shat the bed, which then basically made me turn my attention completely from Tarkov to GZW, but I'm also not a slav zigger that doesn't understand videogames or the concept of early access because of Tarkov being in """""early access""""" for almost a decade now. One thing I wish they would straight up steal from Tarkov is the UI controls though. Being able to rebind my drop keys and closing pop-up inspection tabs with escape would be really nice.

I have faith in Madfinger, for a first time PC game, it's actually pretty impressive and they seem to be very passionate about their game. Giving talks and being pretty straight forward with their dev streams, the CEO being defensive about his game but not being a complete fucktard like Nikita, it's a good change of pace.

Yeah. The name wasn't super creative, but I feel like it fits really well.

Also someone asked the devs during a livestream about keybindings and stuff, and they said they're working on a hotfix to allow more keybinding options (such as toggling aiming/leaning, rebinding push-to-talk, quick pick up/drop, and more). So at some point we'll likely see more options to change things like that. I hope it'll apply to UI controls and stuff too.
But also that response was before this latest hotfix that aimed to fix a self-inflicted problem caused by retards who weren't capable of reading the character creation menus, and kinda fucked a bunch of other stuff up as a result.

Despite all that, I'm optimistic about the game. The devs do seem passionate about the game, and they don't seem like total assholes, so that's nice. And with the game itself, I haven't had nearly any issues with it performance-wise and I think design-wise it's really solid.

I just hope they don't continue to let retards bully them into making changes that are potentially really bad for the game. I feel like they've already done it once with the character reset button being added with the only restriction being that you can only reset every hour, and they still give you all your game edition gear each time. It just seems so abusable to me, idk. I'm glad I've only really been playing PvE rn.

I mean sure, money is a good motivator, but they were communicative and engaged with the community before the game even launched.
We haven't really seen any evidence it's a rugpull, so idk where that's coming from.

step 2: run spt launcher while it's inside the empty folder where you want it installed
step 3: profit

You just need any copy of the game for SPT, but when making your SPT character you can choose which edition you want, so you too can feel like a true believer.

They haven't added Unheard as an option yet though.

I've put it on in the background a few times at work and Veritas is the most insufferable cunt I've ever had the displeasure of putting thru my ear canals. Jesse is alright (I actually like him quite a bit) but the way he just rolls over when Veritas challenges him on anything makes me sick.
