This guy is almost the purest form of Euphoric Internet-Types. It surprises me we still don't have a thread for him.
Edit: Good news everybody, he has a thread
You'll note it's not a very big thread. People like him are painfully unfunny, so unless they manage to ruin themselves in an open and spectacular manner there's no content. I think TJ Kirk's thread only blew up because he was in a CBT porno.

All of these claims are bold-faced lies, except maybe women's suffrage.

It's another one of those "Christianity is a giant blob" claims. There were Christians on both sides, it certainly wasn't atheists considering how few of them there even were back then. These will of course be the same people who'll screech if you imply Islam is bad because of the amount of terrorism related to it.

On one side: The Catholic Church demanding the abolition of Indigenous slavery and an end to the genocide of South Americans and creating propaganda against it.
On the other side: Jewish slave traders and mine factors demanding and delivering free labor and then working their slaves to death.
Really makes u think.

On slavery: Catholics opposed it, and a lot of Protestant strains did too. The Spanish crown and other forms of nobility and wealth though said fuck that.

On natives: Pretty much all mainstream churches advocated converting them, not killing them. I can name a very few that either didn't due to their inner focus (mennonites), or local shit churches that opposed it.

On women: partially yeah, but it was split too and more based on changing home lives last I checked.

So... the smug moron got 33% right at best. That's what we call failing. I could legit flip a coin or even use sports prognostication which is WORSE and get the right results more often.

"We define and declare by these Our letters, or by any translation thereof signed by any notary public and sealed with the seal of any ecclesiastical dignitary, to which the same credit shall be given as to the originals, that, notwithstanding whatever may have been or may be said to the contrary, the said Indians and all other people who may later be discovered by Christians, are by no means to be deprived of their liberty or the possession of their property, even though they be outside the faith of Jesus Christ; and that they may and should, freely and legitimately, enjoy their liberty and the possession of their property; nor should they be in any way enslaved; should the contrary happen, it shall be null and have no effect." - Pope Paul III, on enslaving and murdering Native Americans.
"We order and command all and each of the faithful of each sex, within the space of fifteen days of the publication of these letters in the place where they live, that they restore to their earlier liberty all and each person of either sex who were once residents of said Canary Islands, and made captives since the time of their capture, and who have been made subject to slavery. These people are to be totally and perpetually free, and are to be let go without the exaction or reception of money. If this is not done when the fifteen days have passed, they incur the sentence of excommunication by the act itself, from which they cannot be absolved, except at the point of death, even by the Holy See, or by any Spanish bishop, or by the aforementioned Ferdinand, unless they have first given freedom to these captive persons and restored their goods." - Pope Eugene IV, on enslaving Africans.

But sure, the Catholic Church condones slavery. Haven't you ever seen The Da Vinci Code?

These fuckers are unhinged. I used to claim atheism until it got co-opted by fedora tipping neckbeards :neckbeard: and people like that shrieking queen on the first page. If you are that militant in your belief of not having beliefs, you are just as bad as those hardcore fundamentalist Christians you think occupy the entirety of the religion.

Every Christian I know have interests outside of being Christian. I can almost guarantee the screaming Richard Simmons cosplayer bases his entire identity around being atheist. I'm guessing he was a professor or something and his office is covered in atheist posters and bullshit like that. Militant atheists are almost as boring people as Satanists. Being an enlightened atheist who is smarter than everyone else is not a personality much like being an edgy Satanist isn't a personality.

I'm completely lost. Is she accusing DarkMatter2525 of being a bigoted right-wing abuser?
No, I have no idea who the abuser is, but DarkMatter is separate and still involved with her. You can tell from this beautiful exchange:

Is staunch internet atheism even still a thing in and of itself? Like, the "I'm an atheist and have no other personality traits" kind? Because while there are still a lot of people who hate Christianity, it seems like these days they do it because Republicans like it so therefore they must hate it. It used to be the other way around.
Most people who were internet atheists have either gotten over it or gone full-on into the new civic cult of wokeism. I don't know who would even be left. Thunderfoot went into doing those popular videos about debunking scammers. Does TJ Kirk still make videos?

Seems to be coming back in force on Reddit. A whole new generations of fedora tippers rising up talking about the magic sky fairy. Like we didn't shame them enough the first time.
