But only Christianity. Ignore Sharia Law, the Hindu fundamentalism being used to snuff Sikhism and Muslims in India, and Myanmar's Buddhist Extremism towards other religions.

Why? Because brown people and Christians were my parents, and fuck you Dad.

Seriously, if you're going to scream at fundie excess, scream at fucking all of it.

That's why I secretly hope Robert Cardinal Sarah becomes pope, because it's just going to blow their minds.

"Excellent, the Catholic Church is being very progressive by choosing a black pope oh god what is he saying oh no"

What does it have to do with atheism?
There is no utilitarian case against self-defense, and no atheist case against it either because on atheism objective morality doesn't exist. An atheist can't even declare murder to be wrong, unless their argument is that a specific person being murdered is a net negative to society.

I say this as a fedora-tipper myself, but the problem with atheism really is all the atheists.
This doesn't make any sense. Atheism is not an organization, a congregation, or a group of people with shared interests, atheism doesn't even exist. It's the absence of any belief, it's a vacuum, a complete void.

It's impossible to make atheism have a bad image because it doesn't have a textbook, a system to abide by, laws or rules. Anyone do whatever the fuck they want.

Most people who were internet atheists have either gotten over it or gone full-on into the new civic cult of wokeism. I don't know who would even be left. Thunderfoot went into doing those popular videos about debunking scammers. Does TJ Kirk still make videos?

Most of the internet atheists wound up going one of four ways.

1. The first group went full woke. Even people who were initially with the so-called "Skeptics" of 2014-2016 switched sides back to the leftist camp, as seen with TJ Kirk and Shoe. The majority of online atheists who are still at it in 2021 have gone down this route.

2. The second group realized their fight against the fundies of the 80's and 90's was finally won back in 2008 and just quietly fucked off. Most of the offline atheists who had lives of their own took this route.

3. The third group still vaguely see themselves in the left camp but are still very much anti-woke and haven't quite found the balls to fully leave the left, they're probably the smallest group. Bill Maher and Richard Dawkins fit into this camp.

4. The last group were vaguely right-wing atheists and when woke became a thing, they didn't switch sides and ended up rebranding themselves as "traditionalists" and started LARP'ing as edgy Christian theocrats. Nick Fuentes is a fairly good example of this group, as is Vox Day.

Seems to be coming back in force on Reddit. A whole new generations of fedora tippers rising up talking about the magic sky fairy. Like we didn't shame them enough the first time.

Except this time, the fedora-tippers are also full on wokester.

Someone else mentioned that the old fedora-tippers mainly leaned left simply due to the Right supporting Christianity and there were even a few moderate rightist and libertarian right atheists back in the day.

Now they're anti-Christian solely due to the Right favoring it.

What does it have to do with atheism?

At this point, most of the atheist organizations are just woke groups who haven't bothered to change their livery.

Was Fuentes an atheist?

I assume so, given he came from a liberal family and his whole shtick just reeks of a weird mix of being a self-loathing gay grifter (sort of like Milo with his newfound "ex-gay" gimmick) and wanting to be a super-duper edgelord and realizing being a smug cynical atheist is the opposite of edgy in this day and age.

There's a very good chance Fuentes was raised atheist as a kid or at least secular and irreligious. If he was born ten years earlier or his parents actually went to church, he'd be a fedora-tipper and I'd say he'd probably go woke as well.

If I had to guess I'd say he was brought up a Catholic because he's got Italian and Latino family, and people from those groups tend to raise their kids as Catholics.

If his family was liberal, then they probably just dropped him off at Sunday school once a week and went to Mass at Christmas and Easter - I know people at my church who do that - but I wouldn't assume that he was brought up as an atheist.

What does it have to do with atheism?
Humanism is more a moral philosophy really rather than about atheism specifically, or at least used to be. Of course those organisations have been fully taken over by wokoids and pretty much just promote communist/woke ideals now. They even booted Dawkins out because he dared to suggest he's not entirely convinced by the whole tranny thing.

Luckily it seems they're getting backlash over the Rittenhouse thing if the comments are anything to go by.

Atheism is the belief that no god exists, which is an affirmative assertion of truth. Not having any belief at all is agnosticism.

He was like 10 years old when internet atheism was really popular so I doubt he was engaged with it enough to be that relevant to it. I know he said he got more interested in religion after he was 18 but that's most kids.

I think Roosh is a way more interesting example tbh. He was a radical materialist hedonist PUA who basically preached that nothing but material comforts mattered until he turned 40 and realized he had no children and no prospects because of how odious his persona was, so he converted to Orthodoxy to try and settle down + get back in the good graces of right-wing youtube viewers.

You'll note it's not a very big thread. People like him are painfully unfunny, so unless they manage to ruin themselves in an open and spectacular manner there's no content. I think TJ Kirk's thread only blew up because he was in a CBT porno.
Speaking of "funny" stuff, while they'll put down Christianity, they HATE having their fedora-tipping stuff shoved back in their face. Took a screenshot of this before Youtube pulls the plug on dislikes, but have a look at that ratio of this old Dane Cook sketch where he pokes fun at atheists:
