Infected Euphoric atheists

There actually is a family tree of Muhammed starting from Khadija and his other wives. The only thing that matters if you think he was a prophet or just another desert tribe charlatan. Same with Jesus, who at best seems to have been a culture-hero with all these things attributed to him.
What happened with Islam would be as if immediately after Christ's death, all twelve Apostles (and a few liars claiming to have been Apostles) would have all started up their own sects and immediately started murdering each other for centuries.

I mean that did happen to some extent but fairly early on Christianity codified its set of beliefs to the point that it's at least possible for different kinds of Christians to exist without incessant sectarian turmoil.

They had the big advantage of having rival Messiah cults to rally around to demolish. A documented one that likely is the source of Lucifer being one of the names of the devil specifically comes from a similar Messianic movement from that time: the Luciferians, who claimed their guy was the Son of El as well. On top of that it is thought that Barabbas, the murderer, may have been another Messiah claimant.

Compare to Muhammad, who claimed the lofty title of Last Prophet before the Mahdi, which isn't quite at a Messiah level in terms of that importance, and you can kind of see how that might work out. Especially since they did conquer their way very early on into roles of high temporal power. That sort of shit corrupts man.

I'm most reminded of the time Saint Nick beat a man to near death with his fists for having a hot take on the nature of Christ's divinity being slightly different than his own Chalcedonian take.

Not just any heretic, but Arius, the man who Arianism was named for. He merely slapped him, but that was from a hagiography 1000 years after the fact.

You seem like a good kid so I won't laugh at you for using wikipedia.
Wikipedia is the last place anyone should go to get information about religion. I have gotten a lot of bad information about Christianity from there, and you have to consider that a twelve-year-old child could edit Wikipedia (was that way back in the day, not too sure about now). The arrogance of atheists telling Christians "I know everything about your religious beliefs after a thirty second glance at a Wikipedia article about the denomination of the church you attend" is absurd. Plus, those sorts of people do not even bother to read the Bible itself.

I saw this funny meme by a Muslim making fun of evolution. I can't tell if it's ironic or serious, but the comment section is filled with atheists seething at him and his stupid meme.
Why do atheists take themselves so seriously? Imagine being more embarrassing than a Muslim with basically no knowledge of evolution besides bang go boom monkey turn human.

I'm an atheist and found the meme funny.

If anything, the fact that it's true is what makes it funny.

I wonder why the US deep south is so full of violence and child abuse...

Golly.
That's just whataboutism. It's positions of influence in general, since it gives you access to people to hurt.

Also reminder that people in the rainbow have a notably higher proportional chance to become SA'ers and nonces; there's entire databases that show they're overrepresented in that field.

It's unreal that people like this still exist online. This looks like it was taken from a time machine from 2011-2012
What's even more pathetic about it is that a lot of these people are well into their 30's and acting like obnoxious teenagers. Likely mentally stunted people spamming this tripe all over the pages of Christians on social media... why, exactly? What do they seek to achieve by just spamming nastygrams and laughing reacts on people's pages day in and day out?

Plain & simple: validation, most of these types are the same ones that resented their religious parents to the point of ruining what could have been a good or stable relationship with them, then they also made themselves unlikable to the general public with their new atheist era stunts (ya'll remeber crackergate, blasphemy day or the infamous "ridicule them" proclamation at the reason rally?), now they only have themselves as a result , for me the worst part is that these types are sometimes middle aged people with PHDs that instead of contributing to society they do the opposite acting like total asses on social media

Not to mention that the vast majority of these insufferable morons jumped headfirst into gender woo. Go to any skeptics(™) convention and say there are only two sexes.
Looks like they finally found a religion they like.

Don’t forget that there are way more pedos in the public school system (for obvious reasons) yet these types act like they don’t exist because being pro-public education is predominantly a leftist cause. They also ignore the fact that a lot of the pedo priests they bloviate about are homos too.

Was at the bank today and noticed the bank teller had "IN SCIENCE WE TRUST" tattooed on his arm. I didn't talked to him about it but it was distracting.
Trust is the absolute last thing science is about. That's literally missing the entire point of science. I guess if you've replaced God with science, you would mindlessly worship it.
