The Trinity and the divinity of Christ is one of the core components of Christianity. The only groups that dispute this fact are cultish ‘fringe’ groups like JWs, LDS, Oneness Pentecostals, and New Thought groups. The fact that TT can be so blatantly wrong on what actual Christianity is or Biblical history…is (but honestly isn’t) surprising. The other thing I’m scratching my head over is why an atheist wants to argue what’s ‘right & wrong’ in a holy book they view as factually wrong from the start.

This is a person who wants to tell you if your religion is a cult or not.

As I had stated previously in the thread, the Bible pretty much infers a Trinitarian understanding of God throughout the New Testament. This is partially why Arius was hated among his peers due to his teachings on the Trinity and why the Council of Nicea had to be called. Why Telltale didn't look into this is anyone's guess. Then again, euphoric atheists ain't known for in-depth research.

At some point religious schizos and atheists cross an intersection of smuggery. while ones usually schizophrenic and more forgivable the euphoric side tends to deserve a punch across the face for that.

There is not really an atheist equivalent for the most schizophrenic factions of religion.

I would say that the most you can say of the euphoric atheist is that their equivalent is the groyper and trend of "based tradcaths" who think the religion is all blood and violent glory instead of being humble and being against violence.

There are militant anti-theists, and especially militant anti-Christians. To give a historical example, Communists in Romania under the USSR would torture Orthodox believers by making them defecate on icons and forced them at gunpoint to say re-worded prayers with curse words in them.

In the modern West, while you do see the militant anti-theists, most of them blend in with the more typical euphoric fedora tippers and dangerhairs.

this doesn't make sense at all. The argument about Mary only stands if Jesus is real, and that if he is real and God, then Mary being a virgin is true.

But if it isn't real, then Mary being a slut also isn't real. Atheist's logic is never coherent.

Damn, I did not know this about Buddism. I bet if these facts were more we’ll known, Buddism wouldn’t be as popular among the hippie/new age kooks & atheists. How did it become popular with the hippie movement in the first place?
