And what does this accomplish exactly? Like why Star Trek in particular? Why have tap water and pasta? I don't understand, someone help explain.
A temper tantrum because the SCOTUS does shit she don't like (depsite being a dumbass maple tree hugger),i guess cause Rodenberry was an atheist she thinks it's the national atheist show as for the pasta and tap water... Yeah I don't fucking know

It's some weird viral marketing for sure.

I love that r/Atheism seems to be doing their damndest to act like Jack Chick's caricatures of atheists.

Don't you hate it when Canadians and Europeans give their shit takes on American policy? Like I know we're the leader of the free world and all but can they shut their mouths when it comes to our own domestic issues? Especially ones that require a bit of understanding that they claim to have yet fail to show.

Star Trek is good and all, least the older series, but it's gone downhill as of late. Plus it's really optimistic about space faring humanity, if anything we'll be like either the Citizen Federation of Starship Troopers or the United Nations Space Command of Halo. Or maybe we remain separate super nations like in Alien, who knows?

But I digress.

I recall this woman made a tweet about how the 40-hour workday was done solely by reformists and no one else. The reality is that Sundays were always off thanks to the idea of the "7th day of rest" in Christianity. Also Henry Ford also helped the idea of the 40-hour workday but he's an evil capitalist so that not applies in her eyes. Not sure if the tweet still exists though, it's been a while,

If I were the street preacher I'd take the higher ground, kneel down, and pray for them like Jesus did.

Atheists destroy a street preacher's Bible and then throw it in shit
"If you put your sign in the video, he won't show it."

It's amazing how incredibly petty these people are. Although I will say I disagree about it being a hate crime, whatever he imagines that to be. It could be argued that they're encroaching on his free speech though.

This is just school yard shit, these people never outgrew middle school.

At some point, people who do this are going to "fuck around and find out". They will pick the wrong street preacher or go after the wrong guy for some perceived slight, and that person will be packing.

Was this coach punishing players though? I only heard that it was optional, and I know that a lot of sports teams quickly had players pressuring each other info public displays of anti-Americanism, so that is hypocrisy at its highest level.
No, closest thing is that one of the players told his dad he felt pressured to do it because otherwise he wouldn't get to play as much. Bruh Deshaun Watson out there telling massage therapists to finger his asshole and got a quarter bill contract if you're good it don't fucking matter.

Kennedy (the coach) does seem kind of a like a lolcow in his own right though. Real strong AA vibes.

1) Christianity absolutely played a major part in abolishing slavery. Also here's a fun fact, the first debate on human evolution vs. creationism was between Darwin's friend Huxley and Bishop Wilberforce who was the son of abolitionist. Not much is recorded of the debate but its safe to assume that evolution being used to justify slavery was a concern among Christians.

2) Christianity has always been middle tier in terms of equality. But nothing in the Bible advocates abusing women and most women are encouraged to take up roles supporting their husband's and family's well being.

3) Science and Christianity are not enemies. The church has done a lot preserving knowledge during the dark ages and were key in establishing Universities to further develop medicine.

4) mental healthcare has always been grotesque. Even secular asylums were barbaric. Also lets not forget that science brought us the lobotomy.

5) Many Christians were for better treatment for animals and early animal rights groups were founded by Christians. Wilberforce was one of them.

6) In my professional opinion as an educator, some kids need the belt...

What if say, a more progressive church mentions the recent SCOTUS decision? What then, do you still report them to the IRS? Also, I don't think this kid knows how the IRS reporting works when it comes to nonprofit organizations.

PJW and Darkmatter crossover.
I'm convinced Dark is ignoring what people like h3h3 said about Jordan Peterson because h3h3 said mean things about religion therefore he is good in the eyes of Dark. Dark is pretty lolcowly in his own right, I'm surprised the Farms don't have a dedicated thread for him that I know of.

(EDIT: There is a thread dedicated to him but it's not very active. I apologize for the mistake.)
