>Claims to be Atheist

These people are so unaware they'd fail Piaget's Water Conservation Test. That or they call themselves "athiest" as a front for their devil worship. Either way, damnation is their fate should they continue on their path. Also I doubt this person has the balls to write Lovecraftian horror like Lovecraft would. (see what I did there?)

In other news, The Hellenist has made some posts last time we left off. Let's see what comes of it, yeah?

I have stage 4 cancer from the amount of cringe I saw. We might as well make a thread dedicated to the irrational hatred of religion.

If this person is in their 20s I'll be surprised. Nothing but contrarian edgelord here.

Honestly they're probably just doing it to get a reaction out of people like you and it's working.

Pagans aren't atheists, man. And there's more than enough dumbass pagan shit to fill its own thread.

Still, it's ironic they fulfill what Christians warned about Satan's bidding. Either the Cthulhu bitch and other Satanists are ignorant of this or something much darker is afoot.

Once you look into it enough, you'll realize neo-pagans and athiests are the same shit, different group. They irrationally hate Abrahamic faiths with a passion, despite their lack of theological intuition, a tendency to support left-wing ideals, (although some do identify as "right wing") probably the kid that had a time share in the locker, and have a "smarter than you" attitude.

Or they're just a little edgelord who doesn't believe any of the shit they're saying and are just trying to get a rise out of people.

Except pagans believe in gods, magic, the supernatural, atheists as a rule, do not. You're stretching your definitions to equate them. Neo-Pagans have more in common with left leaning christians than they do atheists.

damnation is their fate
Yeah that right there? They won this round with you here. They got exactly the reaction they wanted, because this would sound like a seethe from their POV.

Neo-pagans actually have beliefs and is a religion, as much as you clearly don't agree with that.

Either way, he's a sad sack of shit.

In my POV, I'm being honest with them. They can be like a pigeon at a game of chess and cheer among themselves. But they keep at being like this, it'll bite them in the ass, metaphorically or literally, whether in this life or the next. I ain't the decider of fate but "Pecador contempla el día final" to them.

With all due respect is the belief that there is no god or higher power not a belief in of itself? Not to mention there are many examples of athiestic religions and organizations throughout history like the Cult of Reason or the League of Militant Atheists. Even now the euphoric atheists are essentially a religion dedicated to the worship of pop "science" and progressive ideals. A religion in all but name essentially.

Probably, but a sack of shit getting what they want.

But that's entirely meaningless to them if they are anything other than a believing christian. The looming threat of judgement day under YHWH means nothing to someone who worships Ganesh, or their local Kami, or a glowing orb in Pasadena or their god-president etc. etc. etc.

With all due respect is the belief that there is no god or higher power not a belief in of itself?

Not really, no. Same as reacting with doubt to the idea that we have been visited by alien life forms isn't. It's just skepticism to a very big assertion.

"atheistic religions and organizations" is a bit like "religious terrorists and knitting clubs" in that it's true but says nothing save lumping in wildly dissimilar groups based on the fact they have one thing in common.

As for "a religion in all but name" even if so what you describe is not limited to atheists. There's plenty of believers who 'worship' at those same altars. So it's a religion not of euphoric atheism but agreeable to that as well as believers.

This is definitely some bizarre shit, but it looks more like euphoric muslim or BLM shit than atheist. It's just as much a fuck whitey screed as it is anti-christian, and they seem to hate atheists too.

According to Oxford, belief is "any proposition that is accepted as true on the basis of inconclusive evidence. A belief is stronger than a baseless opinion but not as strong as an item of knowledge." Merriam-Webster and Cambridge also have similar descriptions. If we're going by those definitions then yes, if you believe there is no higher power, then that's a belief since no proof of God's or a higher power's non-existence is inconclusive.

I'm not saying there isn't any peaceful atheistic groups, even though some of them come off as strong. I used two examples of the more extreme groups of Atheists in history that had used more violent methods. Although the LMA probably was more so violent due to them being a type of "secret police" for lack of a better term.

Yeah but I'm referring to specifically euphorics here.

Remind me again, what's the religion of Greece?
90% Greek Orthodox, 3% other Christian, 2% Muslim, 4% No Religion, 1% Other according to good ol' Wikipedia. Suffice to say, the old gods of Zeus and Poseidon are no longer in Greece.

I had to close my eyes and clear my head when I read, "beneath the tree of Science."

Wait, I just realized he rhymed 'science' with 'defiance.' No. He didn't really do that. No one would do that. BUT HE DID, he did and showed it to the world.

Oh God I feel so dirty, the smell won't come off, it's under my skin!

There is a thread. Neopagans/Witchblr. Though its mostly Tumblr types larping.
We need more RW anti-Christian LARPagan content in that thread to spice it up. There's too much left-wing cringe and tumblr stuff and not enough vikings screeching in youtube coments sections.

I think you mean "is conclusive" at the end, rather than inconclusive, if I am tracking the negatives correctly. As for the point about it being a belief, I suppose it depends on where you are looking at it from, as it could also be said that lacking conclusive proof of a god, many cannot believe in one's existence. It's a question of both semantics and philosophy at that point, as well as the degree of certainty to which you assert there is no god.

The cult of reason was a reaction to the excesses of the french nobility and clergy in the 1700s, so it makes sense there that they would swing to the opposite extreme, what with the pendulous nature of politics, especially when a party that is downtrodden- whether in reality or simply in their mind- gets in power over their opressors. The LMA I don't even think you could call secret, given the openness in which they operated.

Yeah but I'm referring to specifically euphorics here.

I mean fair, sometimes it's easy to lose track.

The closest I can think of is the Varg/AFA types. Good if you consider hypocrites/larpshits as "Retvrn to Evropa" type shit.

Wow... that's a pretty shit reason to scream "DERE NO GOD" at Christians. Laugh at the retard for losing his faith due to throwing an entitled tantrum over his parents not buying the kid another goddamn toy. DarkSydePhil tier level right there.

I wonder if he'll still have such a grudge come 20 years. Definitely has the potential to become a DSP-like character in the future I reckon.

That's now how prayer works lol
As a friend of mine once said, "You can pray all you want but even David had to sling a stone against Goliath"

The book of Job needs to be mandatory reading.
Watch the Euphorics miss the point of Job harder than they already have.
