"Anti-science" is one of those really common, and pretty smoothbrained, insults fedora atheists like to use. Like, dude religious centers have been, by far, some of the most important centers of learning in human history. There was a time in human history where if you knew how to read, chances are it was because of the Bible. And that's just the West.
Many theories still used today came from extremely devout people, even the Big Bang Theory was proposed by Georges Lemaître, who was a Belgian cosmologist and Catholic priest. Also Issac Newton, while being fucking crazy, was obsessed with the Christian God.
And that's not even mentioning the fact that, also for a long time, ancient written works were saved and hand copied by the Church. There was absolutely some political fuckery going on due to national and religious politics, but if these fedoras would actually read some history they would know that the "anti-science" guys are more "anti ideologically motivated and skewed science".

Gnosticism is interesting and I blame Wendigoon for it cropping up lots of places now. I haven’t done any deep dives into it yet, but from what I can tell it is extremely esoteric.
It's very nihilistic once you get to the bottom of it. Very "muh real world bad" type of religion and I didn't know Wendigoon was a gnostic.

I don’t know who runs this account but why do I get the strong feeling it’s a liberal Jew from the East Coast?
Probably is a secular Jew. After all, the founder of the Church of Satan was a secular Jew. Probably saw the money basket get passed around not realizing most churches perform acts of charity. You know, a virtue of Christianity?

Then again, the account owner could be some middle to upper class white guy who got mad mommy and daddy took him to church on Sunday rather than hang out with the friends he doesn't have.

He’s not one, they just came up a lot in his conspiracy iceberg series and the lost books of the Bible video. More people heard about it and looked into it, and so that subject has bled over to other places.

Euphoric aren't familiar with non-evangelical non-fundie forms of Christianity.

Mhm, funnily enough most of the alleged "missing books" are substantially older than many of the surviving early written copies of the Four Gospels and Epistles, with the Gospel of Judas being written around 180-280 AD. Many proto-orthodox Christians had already settled on the canonical gospels by the mid-2nd Century and the Bible as we know it wasn't complied until the Council of Carthage in 397, so to say there are "Lost Books" is kind of a stretch.

Funny thing is Hitler tried to subvert Christianity in the 1930s via getting rid of Christianity's "Jewish influence".

Euphorics aren't familiar with "Christianity" itself. The concepts of it and the teachings are all derived from their own assumptions and hearsay. So whatever they say Christianity is, it will be that, regardless of context, evidence or consistency.

Also iirc Wendigoon isn't a gnostic, he is a christian. Iirc he stated it from his video of "Lost book of the bible", and he certainly does seem like it as he understands quite a bit of what the bible teaches.

Professor Dave Explains has to be one of the most Euphoric Atheists I have seen in awhile. He is so completely assmad at Dr. James Tour, a highly respected synthetic chemist, that The Science hasn't explained the origin of life yet that Dave made several videos just spewing how little Dave himself knows at all about chemistry and the origin of life. Every time Tour explains to him why he is retarded based on actual research, Dave doubles down because TOUR IS A CHRISTIAN SO HE IS WRONG, END. That's literally his whole scientific argument. Meanwhile Tour never mentions God or anything like that as an explanation. This is some of the most hilarious and informative shit I have seen in a long time.

Not surprised Dave Farina is on here. He actively searches for people on twitter that go against his beliefs and starts arguments with them. Here's an example: this user just posted about loving God w/o tagging Dave, or interacting any other opposing viewpoints at all. Dave sniffs him out to make sure he ad hominem's his ass.

tbh Dave is just an asshole.

The full quote is "the love of money is the root of evil". It's speaking out against excessive greed. It's even a subject of Ancient Greek philosophers. FFS, a trip to Wikipedia could clear this up.

Most Youtube atheists are.
They really are. If they're debating a religious person who is debating back, that's fine.
But a lot of them just insult believers who are minding their own business.

I think it's safe to say that "Christian Nazis" make up a very,  very small minority of the 2.2 billion Christians. He is blowing up an incredibly small minority and giving them more attention, which is exactly what these kind of groups want.

Christian's time is better spent worshipping, being thankful for what they have, and helping the needy. No need to waste time on a miniscule minority that they have no association with.

Dawson's already seemingly backtracked some of his old lines to acknowledge Christendom being more accepting of secularism than many other religions, especially Islam. It's going to be a fun ride seeing if he fully redpills.
Could you imagine if Dawkins takes the Christ pill like Jordan Peterson it would be the most hilarious thing ever

I wonder how the euphoric crowd would react if this icon of atheism (and indeed how many of them got their start) were to become a born-again christian. And would Dawkins feel remorse for what he helped enable?

Defending trooming and getting emotional for Dylan Mulvaney of all people.

He has a particular hate boner for Frank Turek.

I'd say Darwkins would certainly felt remorse, for him believing Jesus would have required a ton of humility & self reflection on himself.

The euphorics crowd on the other hand.... I guess it will them a boost on something to talk and be mad about, and endless insults will be thrown on twitter.
