If I could get rid of this video and the channel it's from, I'd do it. I mean holy fuck, how far can you stick your head up your own ass? And don't even get started on the comments. "Cured of delusion" this, "Sheeple" that. Maybe this is why other people can't stand you. And just to stick it to this video and the euphorics' ego, I say this. Fuck Hitchens! Cancer was too good for him.https://youtube.com/watch?v=F0fN-EK4qmY"If I could get rid of religion right now, I'd do it"

They've co-opted the ancient spaghetti monster meme for their agenda, and are using it without any sort of actual humor. Why am I not surprised?
Amazing to look at, isn't it? If anyone else has any other material, go ahead and add on.
(I've decided I won't make a separate thread. I figured the less attention the Reason Rally gets, the better.)
I want to know how many of them know that Atheism requires a certain amount of faith and belief, since it requires rejecting the notion of something that cannot be proved or disproved, meaning there's no certainty and thus an assumption must be made. I assume it's a number less than one. They've co-opted the ancient spaghetti monster meme for their agenda, and are using it without any sort of actual humor. Why am I not surprised?
Jokes aside, I wonder how many of them know that a legit fucking meme religion spawned from it.
Wow, four different fonts on one sign!

2,000 out of the expected 30,000 showed up. Organizers for the most part didn't feel the need to get the word out that it was happening.

Not bad for a mangled up pun.
I have a friend who's a stereotypical euphoric who believes that almost all fantasy creatures are 100% real including gnomes and dragons. When I laugh about it he always pulls the "absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence" excuse without a hint of self awareness.I feel like everyone believes in some supernatural element, regardless of how "enlightened" they are. My mom, for example, is a staunch atheist, but she believes in jinxes, the evil eye and highway prayers for good travel.
I think that only is the case if you are really liberal with the word supernatural. I would not consider myself to believe in anything "supernatural"I feel like everyone believes in some supernatural element, regardless of how "enlightened" they are. They were probably too busy shitposting memes on facebook or whatever and couldn't be arsed to do their jobs.2,000 out of the expected 30,000 showed up. Organizers for the most part didn't feel the need to get the word out that it was happening.
- Lol, I love how atheists who respect other's beliefs and believe that individuals have the right to practice religion are "dickless idiots." Anti-theists like this guy don't understand just how thin of a line there is between repression of religion/religious thoughts and repression of free thought/speech as a whole. Most atheists, even those who really don't like religion, still believe that others have the right to practice and believe in it because they understand that if anyone were to start repressing religion it wouldn't be too long before they started to repress other ideologies as well. If you want evidence, just look at Soviet Russia.
What's wrong with this one? This guy was talking sense.
You think freedom of religion is a bad thing?
