I like him too but many people left the Church during his time and barely anyone attends Church I think it should be the primary goal of his to maintain the faith instead of putting his energy on non-Christian issues

Christianity is more widespread and the truth is that islam is a pretty new discovery to the west and even to muslims themselves. Islam never had a school of historic research. Most of what we know now about the traditional islamic narative is bullshit after it went through the same scrutiny that the Bible did just two centuries ago. It'll take decades and a lot of pushback from muslim powers to learn what islam is really about.
Christians are meant to suffer and do so silently. You don;t have to, you can speak up for justice, but people need to stop larping as some medieval super Christian warriors behind keyboards and recal the constant persecution of early Christians and be less surprised that the world hates our guts. Saint John Paul II once said that, "We must defend the Truth at all costs, even if we are reduced to just twelve again." The truth of that statement is that people need to chill out, stop playing gang warfare and be outraged, but focus on the cold hard truth, reexamine the truth again and again, discuss it with people and even expect pushback and even defeat sometimes. But the truth is the only thing that matters in the end and it may not be on our supposed side since as Chritian doctrine teaches, we are all sinners and we should not assume to be so superior to others.
