Religion equaling disease as written by someone who has malfunctioning brain meat. How lovely.
They also probably are 400 lb and can't stand up on their own anymore

Much as thoughts and prayers can end up being nothing more than empty words, there are those that do genuinely give out their sympathy in the wake of tragedies. Best way to sum it up is as this: at best, you're just giving sympathies to those affected by it, at worst you're just giving lip service that could not be genuine.Usually I see this sort of response by atheists after some sort of tragedy such as a school shooting, implying that the proper response would be activism to change the law in some way.
Of course, this completely ignores the fact that the tragedy has already occured and that those who give thoughts and prayers would much rather direct sympathy towards the family of the victim(s) rather than yell about gun control or whatever.
That image just reeks of being nothing more than the sort of facebook memes people would spam. If a religious guy were mad , it'd be less of "saving lives" and more of either the guys a dick or the person the religious guy is angry at is being a dick.
If religion is truly a disease, a good chunk of the world would be considered disease and would require quarantine. What's more likely to be true is that religion is simply the sort of thing that makes euphorics REEEEEE.Religion equaling disease as written by someone who has malfunctioning brain meat. How lovely.

Atheist Logic sounds sociopathic with cheering ISIL for beheading Christians but then that also has one wondering if that has to just be someone whose messing around and screwing with people. And the "leave your religion or share responsibility for its crimes" does well in using the guilt by association method.

Thoughts and prayers is just like saying "I'm sorry," when somebody tells you a relative of their's died or something. It roughly means "I don't know exactly what to say, but I sympathise with your situation and hope it gets better," it's one of those little things neurotypical people say day to day in social interaction.
One of the big reasons I got annoyed with the euphoric community even back when I was a teenager is entirely because of the awful double standards they often had about religion. Case in point: they often tend to play softball with Islam and pretty much every other religion barring Christianity. A winning moment I've talked about before on the site was when a Euphoric kept trying to tell a buddy of mine how his religion was wrong, and then immediately turned face when he pretended for a period of time he was actually a Muslim.Atheist Logic sounds sociopathic with cheering ISIL for beheading Christians but then that also has one wondering if that has to just be someone whose messing around and screwing with people. They're also extremely foolish in dismissing the Bible as a source of fact. Although it is FAR from an ideal history book, for some cultures and events, it is the only source available... and when dealing with ancient history, one imperfect and biased source is way better than no source at all.The neckbeard is actually wrong, too. Actual biblical scholars and historians believe Jesus (the human, not the divine being) existed.
That one is lulzy because I seem to recall its biggest proponent is a lolcow here; Richard Carrier (who has a thread here btw) is one of several idiots who tried making this a popular idea because REEE NO GODS ONLY MAN... except you Muhammad pls no call me white male...The neckbeard is actually wrong, too.
