IMO the thread's been dry for a while. I haven't posted here in a over month because i didn't see anything new that i wanted to talk about but i'm still following everyday anyway. Alex is a great cow but he is also lazy as fuck so he is boring to keep track. I know sometimes nothing happens and we're forced to wait 2 weeks but nothing has happened in months, this is the laziest he's ever been. His last 4 months worth of youtube videos are useless filler, stuff we already know, uninportant NPCs, ideas he want to steal, etc. There is no "news" or "content", so we're forced to nitpick/invent something to talk about unless someone gets luck and find more about his past.

Come on Alex, at least spoil the next dumb Osana murder method so i can point and laugh at it :(...
It may be bad right now, but I smell drama of Un-Clit proportions coming soon...

This thread shows what kind of position YandereDev has gotten himself in to. He can either continue working on the game, leading to more fuck-ups that people will mock him for or he can quit. If he quits, wew lad! The salt mine with be filled to te brim, the thread will have more to laugh at him for. You thought Alex's past right now is bad? Wait until he quits and has to try even harder to cover up his past as YandereDev. His credibility will be nonexistent.

He will never quit outright. Developing YandereSim is the only reason why Alex is doing fuckall right now, being able to live off a 5k/month Pateron and Stream games for a living. Saying goodbye to YandereDev - even if his heart's not into it anymore - is suicide. He's way in too deep with the appreciation, the worshipping, the attention from conventions, the benefits of being a parasite on prepubescent teenagers who can't even watch a R rated film. You think he can go back to being just a quirky forum member posting on 4chan and AnimeForums? Bitch Please. Once you live the high life you're never going back.

No, I don't think Alex will ever stop developing the game, but I don't think he will ever complete it either. I think deep down he knows that the game is shit, especially after TinyBuild's ineptitutde was recently exposesed. He's gonna milk this thing out as much as he can, providing "Easter Eggs" as updates and constantly promoting some sort of breakthrough to provide the illusion of progress. Meanwhile, no work will be done on Osuna, Ayano, or any core gameplay mechanics.

I hope you're correct in the sense that his fanbase finally runs out of patience and mock him for his fuck ups. Assuming his youngest fan is about 12 or 13, he's got about 2 more years before they finally wise up and realize what a creep he is. But that day can't come soon enough!

Did everyone miss this or something?
All of that would be a colossal waste of time. It would take less time (and would give a better result) to rebuild (or, tinyBuild? heh) the project from the ground up.

I'll admit, the art is good (Though it can seem a bit awkward at times). Too bad that I had to pause the video 30 seconds in. Plus, there's so much wrong with this in all honesty.
The voiceover is terrible. I'm usually okay with Yandere-chan's voice actress, but in this video she just sounded so bad. I can't stand it.
There's also plot holes and continuity errors everywhere:
+Yandere-chan, I'm pretty sure, has never been stated to attended a hospital or psychiatrist or anything in her life. In fact, Yandere-chan's mother said that she was like that, so she probably wouldn't have sent her daughter to a hospital.
+Alex has stated that Yandere-chan learned to fake emotions at a young age and understood what was wrong with her when she was young (whilst in the video, she didn't understand until she was about 11-12 years old, it seems).
+Early in the video, it's shown that her parents tried to help her. Later on, her mother seems to tell her that she was like Yandere-chan and what-not, which is the opposite of the starting point ((See point 1)).
+"Yandere-chan cannot feel emotions" "I felt pity for the man" Make up your mind Alex, is she a robot or not.
+Yandere-chan has been stated to have killed bugs to see if it would bring her joy when she was young. When it didn't, she stopped. The cat being killed in the video contradicts this.

The story, whilst we already know is ridiculous, sounds even funnier and worse when read aloud. I can't take it seriously at all. The character's suffer the same ridiculousness, though the dad's character is probably the most realistic and generally okay one. He's still terribly written, but hey, at least I can kinda stand him. The cliche about her needing to be saved and shit don't really need to be spoken about more than they have.

The only positives I can give is her being bullied as a child. It's cliche, but it still gives her a reason to hate & manipulate literally everyone in her school. I'll also give them credit for giving Senpai more personality than he has in the game.

Oi, the edge.
Edgy, but honestly at least it's... plausible. Minus the "true love makes the psychopath feel emotion" bit. Depending on the severity, psychopaths have no conscience, they don't really feel emotions, etc. If I remember correctly, they're prone to see people more as trophies or possessions to have (I may be mixing this trait up with a sociopathic trait), so Ayano "loving" Senpai in this way and being willing to sabotage his relationships to draw him to her would make sense if he were a high quality guy (but he's not, he's average in every way so it makes no sense). Hell, psychopathy is thought to be somewhat hereditary, so her maternal family having a history of psychopaths (albeit, not EVERY LAST ONE being one) makes somewhat sense too. I swear, if the man would just get rid of that "Aishi bloodline" bullshit where they only birth girls, and they ALL are psychopaths, and that only a man can make them love, Ayano's backstory wouldn't be nearly as cringey. I'm gonna go ahead and rate myself :autism: though for actually going this far in-depth for something that's not really worth the time.

Yeah, looks like YandereDev had wasted time thinking about if she is emotionless or not.

the art's cute to be honest... (i actually checked if the artist made any nsfw art, and it'd be a waste if they did)

"I feel pity for this man" why does she adress her father like that, it seems so off...

I never liked the idea of yanchan pretending to have emotions because yandere can actually be normal, and *become* weird *after* getting attracted to someone. They aren't weird then somehow become "normal". (Ugh, i should just accept this aishi blood thing..)

It's actually a better idea if yandev made yanderechan the childhood friend instead, where she realizes that the one she is looking for was in front of her all this time. It would make more sense if she is overprotective of senpai because she doesn't want to get replaced as the one who was with him for most of her life.
