I'll admit, the art is good (Though it can seem a bit awkward at times). Too bad that I had to pause the video 30 seconds in. Plus, there's so much wrong with this in all honesty.
The voiceover is
terrible. I'm usually okay with Yandere-chan's voice actress, but in this video she just sounded so bad. I can't stand it.
There's also plot holes and continuity errors everywhere:
+Yandere-chan, I'm pretty sure, has never been stated to attended a hospital or psychiatrist or anything in her life. In fact, Yandere-chan's mother said that she was like that, so she probably wouldn't have sent her daughter to a hospital.
+Alex has stated that Yandere-chan learned to fake emotions at a young age and understood what was wrong with her when she was young (whilst in the video, she didn't understand until she was about 11-12 years old, it seems).
+Early in the video, it's shown that her parents tried to help her. Later on, her mother seems to tell her that she was like Yandere-chan and what-not, which is the opposite of the starting point ((See point 1)).
+"Yandere-chan cannot feel emotions" "I felt pity for the man" Make up your mind Alex, is she a robot or not.
+Yandere-chan has been stated to have killed bugs to see if it would bring her joy when she was young. When it didn't, she stopped. The cat being killed in the video contradicts this.
The story, whilst we already know is ridiculous, sounds even funnier and worse when read aloud. I can't take it seriously at all. The character's suffer the same ridiculousness, though the dad's character is probably the most realistic and generally okay one. He's still terribly written, but hey, at least I can kinda stand him. The cliche about her needing to be saved and shit don't really need to be spoken about more than they have.
The only positives I can give is her being bullied as a child. It's cliche, but it still gives her a reason to hate & manipulate literally everyone in her school. I'll also give them credit for giving Senpai more personality than he has in the game.
