Nobody can call this garbage a yakuza clone, Ayano isn't doing actual fighting or funny sidecontent, gameplaywise it's basically another "shop" like info chan but you pay with kidnapped students instead of panty shots.

Everyone's said this before but Eva's just the ideas guy with no sense of how anything actually works (see: "I just played the new Persona so now I will shove as many things from Persona as I can into my game"). Honestly it's a routine at this point and I'm more than ready for something that will really rile people up to happen, but this is the stillborn Yandere Simulator we're talking about so nothing will.

I'm not sure why Ayano, a school girl herself, would do the sex trafficking thing. Like, if they wanted to, they could take her too. She's not all that different from the rest of the girls at all. She can't fight off a gang of yakuza coming after her to make some cash. Also, why woild a school delinquent have so many ties to this? From what I've seen in various anime delinquents seem to just be kids ditching class, beating up people lower than they are for lunch money, getting bad grades, and looking tough (and sometimes really weird). This is too far to be a trope to me, that's for sure.

This is looking less and less like a "yandere girl trying to get her crush to like her" game the more it goes on , its kinda amazing. Its clear Eva has no idea what the hell a yandere even is.

Well, I used to say 'Yan-dair' (not that I ever actually said it in conversation, but that's what I thought it was). People who don't know Japanese can mess things up in wonderful ways.


Also - I don't want to seem overly emotional, but this level of sick would work in a game where you truly played a psychopathic monster. What I loathe about this is that the game is still an anime meme game. This doesn't add anything to the story besides 'oh she does this'. In a game with a good story, this would be a tipping point, or the 'moral event horizon' as TVTropes puts it. As it is, it's just a sick way of getting rid of a rival.
Yes, it's fictional, but fiction is capable of eliciting an emotional response - and making me absolutely despise the game's protagonist while wanting the 'antagonists' to defeat her is _not_ a desired way for that to manifest.

TL;DR - This is an excellent way to alienate anyone who might have been a fan who had any sense of morality, a great way to teach kids 'snuff films are cool', and a great way to stay banned on Twitch. It is not a great way to keep your game's tone consistent.

I'm pretty sure that'd be insanely risky and far less profitable than kidnapping women from poor, less-developed countries to sell in more developed countries like Japan, and the US.

God they're so cringeworthy and edgy... These are the kinds of kids who always talk about how insane/creepy or strange they are on their Tumblr or deviantart when in reality they're the most normy uninteresting kids who are just gonna grow out of it in a few years. And the small amount that don't grow up Will turn out like Alex.

Young girl I mentioned a couple dozen pages back stuffed a bunch of her YanSim art (all very edgy, badly-done stuff) into my sketchbook. Either she's ashamed of it and trying to throw it away or she's trying to impress me. If it's the latter I worry what I did to make her think I liked it.
