What baffles me is that no one among his fans picked up on how weird it is that, with all the Patreondollas he got, he still didn't hire even a part-time programmer.

Unless he kept playing the "I'm totes waiting for the Kickstarter gais" and they were stupid enough to believe it. Or flat-out ignored them because EMAILS !!!

The person behind YanSim = The person with all the money at the end of the day.

So yeah, he's not sharing that title (or the money it provides) with anyone else.

If anything, he wants volunteers that do this pro bono. He doesn't want to give up any of the money he makes because that means less for him even though spending said money could potentially help his game in terms of quality. He wouldn't share that title because it can mean there were those who were way more competent than he was at making a game.

Here's a question for previous fans of Yandere Sim-- what was it that first put you off the game?
Possible powerleveling, but personally it was the pandering, condescending posts directed at those disagreeing with the panty inventory.
The fucking constant email bitching. And the fact he wasn't getting anything done in the game.

The Emails video did it for me. Honestly, if he has enough time to whine about them, he has enough time to sort through them. I guess the slow progress of the game was getting to me as well. I'm not waiting 2 years for a meme game trying to be edgy.

For me, it wasn't until recently with the posts they showed of him on 8chan. While I know that 8chan is crude in humor, I just thought how two-faced he was. Here he is calling out SJWs and normal-fags, yet they're the ones actively supporting his game and giving him money and exposure? I feel like as you become a creator of something and start asking for people's money, you can't be so stupidly two-faced. If he was funding this game by himself and talking shit, sure it's your game. But the fact he has a pateron and doing this is what bothers me. And then he couldn't even own up to it. I would've given him something if he owned up to it. but what did he say when someone called him out on reddit? He said he was changing his language. Nah man. Nah. language changing isn't talking shit about your fans, even if they are overzealous 13 year old SJWs. That's talking shit about them behind their back.

Also the fact that with every complaint that comes to him, he makes it out so he never did anything wrong. It was the person calling him out that was wrong/or confused. He can't own up to anything. Even with the Lunar scythe thing, he never fully said, " I was a brat because in hindsight, my game did suck." he still found a way to put blame on some people.

Eva's constant samefagging and attention whoring back when /v/ figured out who he was.

The email video was dumb, (I remember thinking, "That's part of being even semi-high-profile. Deal with it.") but nothing really turned me off. I thought the changing panty mechanic was in poor taste, but... meh, it's a bad anime/gaming cliche. Whatever, not worth getting angry about to me.

All of the videos were just kind of too samey, and while I thought the game had a glimmer of promise, production was moving too slowly to keep my interest. I stopped following it. I figured it was 50/50 odds that I'd either never hear of it again, or I'd be pleasantly surprised when the full game came out.

Then I found this thread.

One of my friends told me about how he was an asshole thatwould bitch and moan about the game on /v/, so I became a bit cautious of him, which was proven to be a good idea as soon as the email videos came out. It just got worse from there.
All I wanted was a silly animu sandbox game to break

Alex may not mention it but he at least has some programmers doing shit for him

His faster time is buggy as fuck and he doesn't have spare time is incapable of making an actual time skip, so he actually asked someone else to do it. But will Alex give this programmer the credit he deserves or just dismiss it another volunteer? It's impossible to call Yandere Simulator a "one man game" after this happens.

Also, Alex has been talking alot about game design in his last posts and they're SO fucking awful... I'm no game dev but none of his design choices make sense. They might sound fun or smart but after a bit of thought it's obvious they don't work well with each other and that hurts the game. I'm thinking of making a post here about them here but i'm not sure yet.

It was the fact that there i couldn't find anything positive about Alex anywhere i've look. He supposedly worked on several games like... uh... Which ones again? He has a terrible reputation of not taking criticism and being a pirate. He says he works 123853185 hours a day but still achieves nothing.

Not even mocking him, just being realist. Alex isn't competent/talented/dedicated enough to make this game. I can only hope Yandere Sim dies before the Kickstarter scam starts.

Try to find YandereDev's face. Lead me to EvaXephon. Lead me to Kiwi Farms.

I read everything here and then sent it to everyone I know who had an interest in the game.

The dirt dug up on this thread. I was an anime fan back in high school and I was all like cool a game that makes fun of anime tropes. The first alarm bells kicked off was his complaints about emails, but I didn't think too much of it since everyone has their pet peeves. I only casually followed the game. Then the dirt started being revealed in this thread of just how much of a lazy bastard yanderedev. He's the personification of everything that is wrong with anime fandumb. I'm no programmer but I have some knowledge of it. The first thing they hammer in after the introductory course is the importance of planning your shit out before you start coding. I'm pretty much rehashing what everyone else said, but this project is never going to finish.

Just eva in general. Once you know how he thinks/works a lot of the shit in the game just becomes fuckin creepy.

For me, unlike most video games, the killing feels a little too plausible and realistic, causing me to feel chills.

For me it was finding the name Evaxephon on a tvtropes article. One google search later and I knew everything I needed to know about why this guy should not be making games or handling other people's money.

Hello. Last week I read this thread. I already knew about Alex. (Smh) I found out about him from a YouTube comment. It linked me to a prettyuglylittleliars site (something of that sort). I was shocked and I look up most information about him. That's when I found out about this thread. It kinda angered me that people were still supporting him. But then I had to remember that I was once a supporter. On his How To Download Yandere Simulator video I commented about his Patreon money usage. I pasted this link to the comment. I got very immature comments calling me a bitch and all. I handled the situation maturely. About 5 people replied that they were shocked about how he is. And about 15 people were still attacking me with threats. Nobody else replied which I found weird. I went back to the video to see that my comment was deleted. Right after, Alex posted on his Yandere Simulator blog about the Patreon issue and I'm 80% sure that he saw my comment and deleted it and decided to post that. Sorry if this was completely useless. And sorry if my English is bad it isn't my first language.

I followed the games development from the beginning because I saw so much potential. The panties always bugged me, but I tried to brush it off.
His constant whining about emails bugged me a little bit more. What really ticked me off was the guidance counselor. The dude wants his game to be realistic but the staff let her wear something like that? One day upon looking him up, I stumbled across this thread. Being already irritated with Yanderedev, I read all the way back to page 1. This forum was the final straw for me. I understood that the game was just a huge fetish game in disguise and this was going to be a disaster in his hands.

What a shame.
