That would be, what? His third sex doll? Fourth?
I know there's no actual proof, but there is precedent.

That would be, what? His third sex doll? Fourth?
I'm out of the loop on recent Yandere Dev lore. Is he even making the 3rd rival or not? I rarely check his blog and when I do all I see is Amai.
Maybe he is just shit with numbers? I mean, he is already bad at programming and it is not so far away from simple math logic.I'm confused about the surplus calculations.
So the surplus was about $19k last year, he used $2k to pay volunteers, how does that leave the surplus at $13.5k? I'm not complaining because it means the surplus is going away faster but it raises suspicion as to how he's using the extra money.
Jesus Christ, I thought he would learn something from breaking Mai Waifu on his first day with her.
Third if he bought another one after the one he bought after Mai Waifu. That would be, what? His third sex doll? Fourth?
I know there's no actual proof, but there is precedent.
There are also problems with other numbers. He is either lying or just that bad with math. His latest response about Sisefs had dates all wrong despite the fact that he could just actually check them all online. There's some fuzz in graphtreon numbers from user churn - when you sign up, Patreon automatically charges you for that month, and then charges you again at the end of the month as usual. A high deviation between the expected number based on steady subscribers and the actual number would point to churn, as people sign up mid-month and get billed instantly, around the same time that others quit, keeping the patreons number itself stable. Combine that with declined charges at end of month bringing the actuals down, and you have a range that the 'real' number can end up in that's hard for a number archive to actually represent.
That 50% difference is a bit extreme though, so it does raise doubts. He might just be padding these numbers as well.
Called it. I knew he was going to bring up the wildfires to garner sympathy.I live in southern California, which has recently been subjected to high winds. Exceptionally powerful wind can snap tree branches right off of trees. Sometimes, those tree branches land on power lines. When this happens, huge wildfires can start that burn down hundreds of acres of land!
My electricity company doesn’t want to risk being responsible for a massive fire (and thus getting sued for millions of dollars in damages…) so, whenever there is a “high wind warning,” they shut off electricity to my entire area for between 12 and 24 hours. It’s been happening a LOT recently. It sucks to sit alone and bored in the cold darkness, but it sucks even more to be thinking, “I could be getting so much work done on Yandere Sim right now! Everyone’s going to be so disappointed in me and mad at me!” the entire time. I really hope that you can be forgiving about this.
It's not the first time he's made this type of graph and explanation. It still makes no sense to me.I really hope you understand that being the director/manager/producer of Yandere Sim is a full-time job all by itself, leaving very little time to be the programmer as well. …wait, didn’t I make a graph about this exact topic? One second, let me see if I can find it…ah, here it is!

When I made that graph, I really meant it. The majority of my time is spent talking to artists, animators, composers, modelers, and voice actors (yes, I’ve been reviewing a lot of auditions recently, too), and actual game development progress is made in whatever scarce amount of time is left over.
I really hope you don’t get the impression that I’m complaining; I’m not saying, “Damn those ultra-talented volunteers, how dare they generously make incredible assets for me?! This is all their fault!!” I’m just saying that there is a LOT more to game development than just typing code, and during some 2-week periods, the non-code aspects of game development are going to eat up all the available time, leaving zero time left for the code-related aspects.
He's just trying to gaslight retards into thinking that reviewing and directing work from 5-10 volunteers is a 35 hour a week job. Realistically, you should be bundling and delivery dating this - tell the volunteers work will be reviewed and feedback/next steps provided on fridays, and just spend a friday afternoon doing so. Its not hard. This sort of resource management is something I deal with in gamejams all the time, you just gotta provide high level direction and trust the people, and go cook on your own things. Its volunteer work, so for the most part you'll get what you get. It's not the first time he's made this type of graph and explanation. It still makes no sense to me.
It's very comedic that this of all things is what he thinks people are going to admonish him for.It sucks to sit alone and bored in the cold darkness, but it sucks even more to be thinking, “I could be getting so much work done on Yandere Sim right now! Everyone’s going to be so disappointed in me and mad at me!” the entire time. I really hope that you can be forgiving about this.
There are a handful of questions that I get asked really frequently. One of them is, “Will there ever be a 1960s Mode, featuring Dozuki as the protagonist?”
I’m thankful to have fans who are so invested in Yandere Sim that they take the time to learn about the secondary and tertiary characters such as Dozuki Aishi – the mother of Ryoba Aishi – who obtained her Senpai in 1968. However, it does get tiresome to type out the same answer multiple times every day: “No. Dozuki didn’t eliminate her rivals – she simply kidnapped and mind-broke her Senpai – so there won’t ever be any gameplay mode where she is the protagonist. It would be short and boring.”
One solution is to simply write out the answer on the About page of the official website, and just tell people to go check that page whenever they ask me. However, I’ve come up with another solution that might be more engaging and entertaining. First, a bit of backstory…
I’d like for the Characters page of the official website to have profiles for some of Ayano’s most noteworthy ancestors. I came up with an especially elaborate backstory for her great-grandmother, so I requested artwork of her, and then added her profile to the Characters page. (Please go check it out! The illustrations that have been created for her are absolutely gorgeous!) I decided that this was a great time to do two things that I’ve been meaning to do for a while: Answer the “1960s Mode” question…and try out “short-form content” for the first time.
So, I created this – a YouTube short about Dozuki and Kataba!
Man, I really miss making videos! But, I can’t justify taking time away from development to produce long, ambitious content. This type of video – less than three minutes long, not requiring a huge investment of time to produce – might be a fair compromise. It’s too early to confirm whether or not I will make similar videos in the near future, but I hope you enjoy it, anyway!
The game feels rushed despite the fact it has been in development for over a decade.I swear, this guy is hopeless. 11 years of development, tonnes of allegations, ridicule, a history of his retarded behaviour on the Internet documented, he's been cancelled for what - 2 or 3 times already and one time is massive, and he still goes on and on.
Only uses volunteers as free labour, comes up with excuses for further procrastination, tries to gaslight a small piece of fabdom he has left and etc - the usual Alex shenanigans.
It's especially funny for him to bring out a stupid graph he made I dunno - 6 years ago? - explaining what game developers job is, while we have multiple single game developers with FINISHED games now.
Just shut the hell up, Alex.
Ya know, things like this would be great if the main story was already completely done, but it's like he's grabbing idea's from his future self and putting it in.
we have multiple single game developers with FINISHED games now.
Lmao no actually, its really not. In the modern era, a bullet hell is a bit more resilient to bad code, just by virtue of having less systemically interlocking sections, but it requires a huge amount of game design work and iteration to make something actually fun.Is a game like Touhou easier to make than what YanSim is supposed to be? Probably.
Yes. Star Citizen is overscoped, overly delayed, and has somehow amassed a comical amount of money, but they are actually making progress towards their stated goals even after all this time, and have recently cracked some genuinely impressive tech with server meshing, and seemingly are making good strides on stabilizing the inevitable shitshow a new tech as foundational as that brings. Is Alex worst then Chris Roberts and cloud Imperium games ?
