oh god, sorry for the double post but have you guys seen this?

Added facial movements to yandere-kun. I also edited the idle, walk and run anims to look smoother.
Yandere-kun is finally in yandere simulator. I'm honestly glad to know that he is, yet disapointed that I was not mentioned in the slightest when he did. I would explain the details here but I don't want to rant.

Also the code needs to tell Alex to fuck off and stop being a thieving little shit somehow.

Welcome to the farms!

Also, it's sad to see how Eva actually has never changed since his "Lunar Scythe" phase. He keeps claiming he has, but his attitude towards everything is still the same.

Why hasn't this guy been sued yet?

You'd think that having some success with Yansim would wake him up a bit. Here he has fans actually liking him and he still acts like a dick. I guess there's no helping some people.

I'm wondering about all of the easter eggs and stuff. Tiny Build will speak up over those and the stolen assets. There are ways to add references and homages to existing properties without causing copyright issues. But Eva doesn't seem to understand how this works. It's like he lacks the ability to imagine anything on his own and needs to see someone else's creative efforts first so he can copy them. He blatantly takes from others. His younger fans are going to be upset when they see how much may have to be removed to keep the whole project from becoming a lawsuit nightmare. How hard is it to make a Yandere-kun reference that looks original?

Even Kizana looks a lot like a purple haired Amy from Soul Calibur. Kizana's got the drills and the rose hair ties. And some of Amy's outfits have rose print stockings. I tried reading "I Am Your Slave". But it was so bad I couldn't get past the first couple of chapters. I wouldn't be surprised if he had Siegfried bang someone as young as Amy though. I found Siegfried to be portrayed so awkwardly that I assumed Eva had self inserted into Siegfried's character.

I don't know if I'm :late: or if this isn't real but I found this:

Eva's Dad: I care about you son, and I want you to go to college so you can have a successful career.
Eva: OMG FUCK YOU DAD YOU WANT ME TO HAVE A GOOD LIFE I HATE YOU I WANT TO KILL YOU AND MOM WITH A KNIFE

:story:
Alex: ''My mom is a total bitch, i want to kill her with my bare hands because she's always blaming me for something i'm not doing''
Also Alex: "Oh hey mom, Thank you for bringing me food. I love you <3 <3 <3''
Jeez dude grow a spine already, you should'nt even be at their place anymore.

Not only that, but I've been wondering how okay Tiny Build really is with Eva sitting on his ass and doing constant streams, along with his developer videos that constantly spoil the game. I'm sort of anticipating the day when the poor unfortunate souls who worked on this nightmare give their take on the "grand" experience of working with Alex.

One of our members (@Lurkette) did a recording of a few of the chapters. Worth the listen.

Well he hasnt kicked him out and he's like 29 apparently.... Dude must have swallowed the pill. Eva's apparently too meek to speak up at the dinner table to ask for someone to pass the salt, he's definitely too meek to talk to his parents who housed and raised him, he ain't gonna do shit. Dude cant even finish a video game. Edgy, though.

This is armchair territory, but it would explain why he's such an edgy little shit.

Straight up admits he made the whole male yandere to out shine his fanView attachment 191943
Changing every instance of -chan to -kun sure will be time consuming to do. It's not like there's a regular way to express a replacement like this.
(Changing the audio dialogue isn't as simple, but he does specifically mention the code as what he's talking about)
This is exactly why EvaX needs to get onboard with OOP. It would make implementing a new character much easier and less complicated. Abstraction is a wonderful concept.

I love how instead of working on the core aspects of the game, he's already thinking about adding a male counterpart to Yandere-Chan.

lol, classic eva.

When I was 15 years old, I developed add-ons for a game called Blockland, which was a bit like Minecraft before Minecraft was a thing. Pretty successful indie game with a great modding system that I wrote some game modes for. You learn a lot pursuing things like that and it gave me a pretty solid fundamental understanding of programming concepts and game development in general.

What Eva is doing is wrapping himself up in feature hell. It's really, really easy to get consumed by your own ambitions and start doing, as he says, the low-hanging fruit only. Pop in another model you downloaded and tweak the rules a bit so it looks like a huge amount has changed for little work. Make one room of the school a satanic cult (???) with a trigger box that turns you into SS4 Goku when you throw three corpse objects into it. These seem like massive features, and they are, but to just have that little bit of fucking around he showed off, the amount of work is relatively little to completing one feature all the way through.

What's difficult are the small, tedious parts that make a whole game. The AI that reacts appropriately to what the player is doing. The algorithm that generates personalities for each student. The bug fixing. The actual gameplay is fucking boring to put together. Oh, and the user interface. The user interface is so fucking dull and time consuming. The same time you'd use to add the basics for some brand new cool feature that makes it look like a lot of progress has been made could be spent completing some boring fucking user interface page so that a button works right and is contextually accurate. Sure, the UI is super critical to a good game's flow, but it's drag-ass to write.

In short what you're seeing a whole lot of fucking nothing. Aside from the fact it does nothing to push Yandere Simulator towards being a finished product as originally intended, the amount of work required to do what was presented in that video is very little, especially if he's not the one doing the animation or modelling, and apparently he is not. His volunteers are sending him designs and he's dropping them into place and writing a little code to have something to make a video with. This is essentially a toy for him and he will never complete it on his own. Making a finished product isn't fun, and it's quite clear that he's adverse to doing what is not fun.

During his argument with Mike, he openly admitted that he cared more about the "front end" of the game, and cried when Mike didn't give a shit about it and focused on the engine. Still hasn't changed. He wants all the accolades of being a game developer without putting in any of the work.

Why doesn't he just change the honorific to -san instead? It works with both versions of Ayano, and story wise would make a lot more sense with Ayano's empty shell personality instead of using an endearing, cutesy honorific.

This is pretty off-topic, but I've been trying to remember what that one game I adored was called for ages now, and turns out this was it. Thanks.

On-topic, something that bugs me is when Eva explains his simple coding as if it was a huge week-long project and gets praised for it 'cause ignorant fans. Can't remember an example off the top of my head but it's really grating.
