Then there was a point where he tried to send his fanbase to attack a girl for running a hate-blog against him. Then there's his interest in loli-con, which I think was first discovered when he used a loli-manga comic and meme'd a panel to be about a loli wanting YanSim updates (drugs in the original comic). Then you got his past sperg-outs on 4chan and his old stream page, his incompetence in paying professional artists, not crediting some artists in his work, stealing art and guilt tripping artists into giving him said art despite telling him they don't want their work in his game (i.e. the FUN Girl thing), and the "too many emails, woe is me!" stuff.

Yeah, i feel he realizes he should be hating this whole thing but he is probably too emotionally invested on this game/fandom to quit now.

People are dying waiting for this project. I don't think we're at this point yet but soon most people won't even care about the game and will just be part of the fan community and even paying into patreon just to keep up with their social support network.

Like people that play MMOs they hate to talk with friends in the game.

It's sad to say, but after seeing how his fans just take his shit and still defend him, I really doubt that they will ever get fed up and stop paying him. I can see this setup / patreon go on with him for 5+ years... Someone mentioned if Stockholm syndrome was possible online. Scary thing to consider but that really rings true to this whole thing.

Dude knows how to really milk it though. Guy puts more effort in pumping up his game in video releases than actual game development....

Just goes to show that the fanbase is filled to the brim with exceptional people. There's enough evidence out there that proves without a shadow that Alex is the scum of the earth, and people will still jump up to defend him without question. Gotta hand it to the guy, he found his niche among a flock of unquestioning sheep.

It really says a lot about people in general, an unwavering willingness to walk barefoot through a field of shattered glass just for the opportunity of something they want, doesn't even matter that the thing they want is a dogshit sandwich.

Osana has been in the game files since March 2016 since he showed in the delinquents update in 2016 and Alex changed it to OsanaFake during those months

I got to the end and my only take away is that Alex seems to still be brainstorming ideas (he wants to implement an Idol club and an Idol Rival to be the club leader? The hell is he even on at this point.), with nothing in particular nailed down.

4 years and he still hasn't decided what type of characters the rivals will be? What kind of development does this even fall under at this point, for a while I though he was following the agile paradigm, but now... it just seems like he's going about this whole thing like an absolute spastic.

Yeah over two years in development. If other rivals follow a similar pattern, realistically the game will be done in 2028, with 2 years for each of the 10 rivals and 2 more for finishing the other parts of the game. That is assuming he actually finishes Osana this year, which is highly unlikely.
