Which also raises the question how will he even operate this team? Directors usually have a good load of interpersonal skills. He's able to communicate with his volunteers and fans through mails, but he'd have to be close to his employees making HIS vision. He couldn't even tolerate one person sent from a company, how is he going to handle multiple different personalities especially if they will be... Yeah, that schedule reeks of bullshit. Usually nobody knows exactly what aspect they're going to be working on with their project at exactly what time. It would all depend on what needs to be done the most at that stage in development. Also starting his day off by checking his sub-Reddit's and "interacting with fans" seems like a big load.

That's not surprising. Considering how much of an ego Alex has developed about his game, I feel like his first thought when ripping a fans artwork for his game wouldn't be "maybe I should ask this person if I can use their work in my project that I am profiting monetarily on", it's more like "they're gonna love me so much for this lol I'm so cool"

I'm surprised Alex wants to make a video so soon adressing this "controversy" (that he created in the first place), i thought he would chicken out for a while but i guess he can't live without the praise. If he just ignored the miniscule amout of complainers he wouldn't need to do this.

If Alex plays victim for 10 minutes then it will probably make everyone love him again (as it always does) but if Alex lowkey bashes his own fans (and i think he will), the comment section will not let that slide and he will be forced to shut it down again. Let's see how bad this will go.

Alex has a long track record of blaming his fans for hindering his/the game's "progress," especially when it comes to all those gosh-darn pesky emails he just has to spend SO many hours answering!

In a a sort of Whack-A-Mole type phenomenon, more fans come along to defend him, which typically consists of a circlejerk regurgitation of classic YanDev talking points - he's busy all the time, coding is hard, and those annoying SJWs who think the game and/or its creator sexualises minors.

As someone who's followed his saga on and off for almost 2 years I can't decide which is more cringey - his white knights, or his tendency to throw them under the bus. At least, I assume he still does that - disabling YouTube comments is a pretty clear indication that anyone who wishes to defend him is nonchalantly de-platformed.

He's a big boy who has an illustrious history of responding gracefully to criticism and taking everything in stride. Just like every lolcow whose threads exceed a thousand pages. Right?
