I don't think that yakuza fight mode thing is going to be in the final game and the town has been put on hold
but this is Alex we're taking about he loves biting more than he can chew he'll probably change his mind and want to implement them and prioritize them over Osana.

He has plenty of reasons to stall. One big one being the loss of a fair bit of volunteers in 2018. How can Alex do shit these coming months if he has jack shit for people helping him. December was a prime example of this. The obvious other reason is money and more unnecessary YouTube coverage.

Step 2. Do the gaming club leader's task (which honestly takes like ten seconds with no challenge)
Step 3. Skip to Thursday and Drown her in the pool. No witnesses will be present as the bullies will be looking at the gaming club leader and Osana's stalker of a friend will be dead

I'd be shocked if doing all this takes an hour, maybe even half an hour. The average fan under-assumes just how much Alex has spoiled of Osana's week in his Youtube videos, and will be shocked when eliminating her sucks ass because they know everything.

Given his inability to not spoil everything I assume he's going to spoil all the other rivals as well, assuming the whole project doesn't fall apart somehow before Osana actually gets added. I don't believe he's 'finished' her unless he's talking solely about animations given the way he messily links together the other student classes and the player.

It's gonna be funny if he somehow manages to get this finished and released only for speedrunners to figure out how to complete it in less than 30 minutes. I'd guess the times would be in the low 10-15 minute range after a week or two.

I think Alex keeps adding worthless bullshit to his game because he's trying to add bloat to make Killing Osana more detailed or fun. He has to be worries that if Osana is released and everyone shits on it, the game is dead.

Osana has also been the end goal before the Kickstarter is supposed to start, if she isn't fun, yeah the game will die almost instantly

I have no idea how high schools work in Japan, but in most High Schools in the U.S school pools aren't ever open to students unless there is a lifeguard (or adult) on duty. Besides, who the fuck would spend free period or lunch SUNBATHING near the school pool? That only happens in anime.

I don't think Alex realizes that the longer he waits to put Osana in the game, the more hype will be built around her, and the bigger the disappointment will be when she's finally implemented.
