I still think that the mechanic where you have to look in a mirror to change your persona is retarded. It honestly sounds like the kind of thing a heavily autistic person would think up, someone who thinks a personality is just a different way of walking and talking. While having different stances and walking animations is pretty neat as an idea, I would rather see it linked to a club. I guess it could be justified as Yan-chan trying to fit in? So if she joins the delinquents, she'd walk around like a though guy while having a more open yet confident stance while in the martial arts club.

Good morning, fam, Eva wants TEN rivals in game. And 2 of them are adult women.
Plus additional rivals in DLC :')

In his defense, having two of the rivals being adult women isn't as bad as it seems at first glance and could be justified. YandereDev doesn't know what tone he wants to go for in Yandere Simulator, flipflopping from grim and gritty to silly and anime-inspired, sometimes going into downright meme game territory (as much as he may pretend he doesn't want YanSim to be a meme game). If he were to go hard for the anime inspired tone, then teacher-student relationships are a pretty common trope in both directions (from the top of my head currently ongoing manga featuring both are "Gal Gohan" and "Sensei can't teach me love"). I think Mida Rana is also supposed to be directly based on a certain anime teacher who's known for being outrageously flirtatious in the classroom. If he wants to avoid looking creepy, he can always go for the "let's wait until you graduate" cop-out a lot of these manga have for the "bad end" involving the two adult rivals.

If he wants to go for a tone that's more grounded in realism, then it can be pretty creepy unless Senpai manages to become president of France.

Also, She IS a Yandere after all, her jealously can be based in imaginated fears, maybe that adult woman isn't interested on the boy but she doesn't care and murders her anyways on a baseless suspicion.

If anyone wants to see the tasks for joining the reverse harem without risking their PC.

Oh, my bad, i thought she is now responsible for concepts. And, if you compare Kjech artstyle for concepts, and new art, you can see many differences. Kjech is more experienced, his arts has better anatomy, lineart and shading. Even clothe styles are different. Artist can't regress like that, i belive it is mulberry(or some other slave-artist in Yanderedevs basement). Maybe Alex asked her to draw this concept is Kjech style.

Mullberry has always tried to be a carbon copy of Kjech.
It doesn't work.
Her anatomy is even more atrocious (when she isn't tracing).
The fact that all the characters except for like 2 have huge breasts has always bothered me.
It makes it look like a shitty hentai game (which honestly isn't far off tbh).
Considering he dehumanizes women with small breasts, I find it interesting he made Yui Rio (the red haired R6 member) evil, and gave Osoro a villian like personality.

People aren't paying you for a shitty loli game, they're paying for a Yandere Simulator game. And they aren't even getting an actual Yandere character.

lmao he dehumanizes women in general, big titted girls are little more than fap fuel.

I think he wouldn't have 1500+ page thread here of he was honest that his game is silly hentai vydia. Like, many creeps make fap games and it's ok, just don't advertise it to kids. His ego shows not only in his text or relationships with people, but in a game too.

It is must be a psychological game with serious story.
It must have content from professional volunteers.(Let's forget he is not professional enought to see which art\model\code is good and which is bad, i'm sure he sees his game as visual masterpiece)
It must not be banned on twitch.
Every character in school must be different and hand-crafted, with personality and personal quest.(Let's forget that all quests currently avalible are 'go there and bring me this')
He already made videos about possible DLC rivals.
He wants rouge-like mode, 1980 mode, thinks of adding Yandere-kun. (Of cource, there is nothing bad about thinking big, it is not cool to tell all your big plans to audience and make them wait it)
There are some magic-demonic shenanigans in satanic club. Who knows what he plans to do with it.

And there are still no Osana.

I think that's a major problem as to why this game development has gotten so out of hand.

Look at Mirai Nikki, look at School Days. Some of the iconic anime when one thinks of Yandere. Is some of the shit that goes on in that retarded? Yes, definitely, but it's all played straight and serious.

Hell, Yuno Gasai was the only thing done well in Mirai Nikki. The anime toyed constantly with the idea of whether or not Yuki should trust Yuno because she might and often does betray him emotionally to have him all to herself. Yeah there are retarded anime scenes like when her binkini top comes off in the pool and she clings to the Virgin Yuki or where she breaks into his home just to make dinner for him and his mother (who she is totally cool to kill if she denies her Yuki). But there are incredibly dark scenes where she drugs and kidnaps him to another city for no reason, keeping him sedated in a vegetative state so she can have him all to herself, and a major plot point where she convincingly lies to him and he ends up killing everyone he knows including his friends.

So you can have anime cliches, but you have to play them dark and serious since it is a dark trope. I think he was going with that before, trying to contrast the bright school with the inner darkness of Yandere-Chan, but it shouldn't be silly. He needs to go back to his source material.

In Mirai Nikki, Yuno never took any of the authority figures seriously. I don't think there really was an on screen parent in School Days and teachers were ignored. I can think of a few other anime with Yandere like characters who also had a general contempt of authority. Something along the lines of "They're to make sure other people follow the rules, but I don't have to."

Really putting any emphasis on adults as anything other than obstacles just takes away from the focus of the story: Senpai, and Yandere-Chan. But Yandere Simulator has become Alex's Spank Bank now instead of a serious attempt at a game.

The Yandere Trope as a whole is little more than fap fuel.

If past animes are anything to go by, Yandere-Chan should be portrayed as a A++ student who is good looking, has a rocking bod and semi-popular. Senpai is supposed to be some bland self insert and/or a loser who looks normal, maybe has 1 weird friend and generally both ignores women and is ignored by women except that one time Senpai did this nice thing to the semi-perfect Yandere girl and now he's the one thing in the universe she covets above all else.

Makes about as much sense as your hot as fuck, 19 year old step sister being afraid of a thunderstorm and wanting to sleep in your bed tonight in her thong and tight t-shirt while her mom and your dad are away on a business trip.

Honestly I'm all for a twist on the trope. Her not being the popular babe or whatever. I am upset that she isn't even a Yandere though. It's a bit...well not a Yandere. I think if he knew how to write her better it would be better. For games like this it's hard to really make a character for the player to project themselves into which is what he's trying to do. And honestly a type of character that really shouldn't make it easy for players to project themselves into completely cause it's weird...

It's ironic, because maybe if he was a more decent and sensible human being, he'd consider hiring a part-time co-writer or story editor and he could have blown up years ago and had a decent franchise going. What a good example of a great idea executed horribly.

And yes, if anyone should be the self-insert it should be Senpai not a Yandere.

I wouldn't call his vague plans of a "Hitman but like my favourite anime" a great idea.

I think they mean the general idea of playing as a crazy girl wanting to kill for a guy she likes a good idea. Or at least something that sounds potentially fun. Playing the villian thing.
