c# sperg: reflection in prod code is fine but something's probably seriously wrong with your architecture if it's happening outside state initialization. If it's just acting as a janky surrogate for interfaces that's a massive red flag.

(By the way, this snippet is from StudentManagerScript of all places [lol].)
The fact that that class has both 'TransWindows' and 'TransparentWindows' booleans makes my eye twitch.

I assume the intent is "switch to low poly model when NPC is not visible in camera" but instead it's "switch to low poly model when part of NPC is not visible in camera".

I wrote an explanation for what's going on here but the text editor ate it.

The tl;dr is: Yep. He's trying to do occlusion by himself. And he's a dumbass for not reading the documentation and using the tools the engine provides so you don't have to do this yourself.

OK, guys honest question what game will release first, Star Citizen or Yandere Sim?
I'd say both Star Citizen and Dead Island 2 have a pretty good chance of being released before YS.
So something that's really pissed me off about this Osana shit is how quickly the let's players hopped onto it. These bootlickers are why Alex still has such strong fanbase
I don't think these creators give a shit about Alex or the game at all - they most likely just want to make some easy money and what is a better way to get views than playing something children enjoy.

It depends. Jay perfectly demonstrated by himself how broken the game is; it was a speedrun and using exploits, for all his fans to see how buggy the game is. For a youtuber of his caliber, it's just one-off trip to get some content. You should be perfectly aware how tiresome the fanbase of these let's players can be. They would ask and ask him for a video. I'm not surprised, I would do it myself in his situation, just to get this shit done and move on. It's worth noting comments on his vid were far from favorable for Alex.

Creatures like Bijuu Mike are beyond redemption though, Yandere Simulator is their lifeline. Very sad existence.

Jay's video today is even funnier

He's his usual positive self but he's actively demonstrating just how stiff and closed off all the elements of the game really are. Osana just walking directly into a candle in the middle of the path after having gasoline dumped on her. Jay crawling around filming and Raiburu just happily eating her lunch while Senpai sobs over Osana dying from poison. The NPCs just go through their animations and scenes as if there isn't a player running right up and getting in their face. Actual immersion seems like something he should have been working on instead of adding all these extra unnecessary details.

Come on, Alex, a college class on C++ "fundamentals" would expect more out of you. Hell reading past ch 2 in any C++ book would give you ways of improving your code.
Yandere Simulator is a Unity game, which means Alex's spaghetti is C# flavored. The mere thought of Alex using C++ horrifies me. He would use naked new and delete instead of smart pointers, header files would contain definitions instead of just declarations, std::move would either not used often enough (if at all), or it would be used too frequently (preventing the compiler from using return value optimization in places where it otherwise could have performed it), etc.

Our grandkids will be playing Star Citizen.
The more sheltered of our grandkids will be styling on Alex's son trying to finish Yan sim.

It's free money, unless people don't watch their videos.

Is there a reason "queen" is misspelt, or are cucks just illiterate? I really cannot tell
It's not misspelled. Quean is an actual different word, and it's a wordplay.
