So if I plant some form of contraband on Osana on Wednesday and go to report it to the guidance counselor I'm basically going to get a block of text that says "lol fuck you, you can only do that on Tuesday you idiot!".

Weapons and drugs are legal on Wednesday in Japanese high schools. Alex is an expert on Japanese culture. He's watched a lot of hentai.

The bugfixes continue, this time with an extra dosage of falsehoods.

TL;DR - NPCs and elimination schemes get railroaded harder and Alex is starting to remove generic NPC behaviors he can't fix, Osana-specific things still broken. Game foundation still a complete disaster much like how water is still wet.
:story: I can't decide if it's funny or really sad. Patchfinding code is so convoluted he couldn't find a way to get data for his saving system. I can understand saving system to be off in the middle of fight, because scummy players can use it to break the game for no reason whatsoever. But NPC investigating a giggle? He's cutting out game content just to avoid fixing bug. Ironic how he didn't want to sacrifice his "vision" of a game when he broke off contract with Tinybuild, but now he's cutting out the game just because of bugs. Also, what the fuck this alien means by "certain things can be reported on certain days of week"? What is this thought process? Friday is a Theft Day, you can't report theft on Monday, sweetie! Oh, and you have to report rape on Wednesday, you have to wait for two days :tomgirl: Did he just bent reality to match Osana schedule? The fucking cherry on the top is how you can report Osana without buying schemes. This fucker connected elimination method to a walkthrough, earlier. To-do list was dictating the game flow, instead of game flow dictating to-do list. With spaghetti code he has, I doubt it's going to be the only instance.

And then what's he gonna do when the next rival has an entirely different routine for elimination?

He's just going to copy paste all their AI and try to buff their difficulty to a hundred times of Soulsborne games, isn't he?
None of his shitty code is reusable. He'll have to completely write a new rival from scratch if he wants it to work without endless hours of bug fixing and modifications to make it fit in with the rest of the pasta, and then we'll have another week of dozens of bug fixes when the 2nd rival comes out in a few years.

I hate reddit.

Even if his code was perfect, I can’t imagine the next rival going quickly even then. He could re use basic murder weapons and animations, but that’s it. All of the rivals need unique routines, cutscenes... hell, two of the rivals aren’t even students. Each rival is going to be a significant amount of work.

Every once in a while their gayops were pretty funny. Not because they were successful, but because they were absolute morons. My favorite was someone getting into the private subreddit (not a difficult feat at all. You just had to ask and not have comments in Osana.) They we’re so proud they took a screenshot of being accepted into the private Reddit like a super secret spy, username and all, and posted it in Osana. Genius move. They made a comment about an hour later the account was banned.

I suppose it was only a matter of time before they started paying money to spam shitty memes in the hopes that Alex-senpai sees them and gets triggered. They’re as desperate for his attention as his actual fans.

Ever since her outing in the field, she proceeds to bash the Farms for what we did to her on Discord every now and then. It’s nothing different than the reddit echo chamber since that is her original home.
At least she changed her Discord username. And then proceeded to leave her nickname and everything else exactly the same.

massive retard alert

Anyone here who is unfortunate enough to use Unity know why he hard codes the animations? Doesn't Unity have a built in fancy animator???
I'm not familiar with unity, but I'm assuming there's no reason besides he is just making things complicated by being lazy. Hardcoding is essentially a shortcut to make parts of the code start automatically by adding EVERYTHING to the main part of the code. It's dumb to do it for extremely little shit like animations as that creates extra problems the more complex the program becomes (like animations not porting to other models). So, like Alex doing "else-if" on everything, he also can't compile properly, or is just too lazy to organize the code correctly for future use. For someone so "professionally unskilled," it's really easy to lazily hardcode starting out, because it's basically skipping over all the "hard parts" of proper compiling/organizing. But you should never actually do that, it's a disaster, you can't change it later and some things become irreversible.

Didn't have to scroll too far to find this and realize no one picked up on it. Instead of paying a writer than has more than one brain cell to write some good lore, he's trying to turn this into Undertale with the "pacifist vs genocide routes!"

He has fallen too far, forgotten what the fuck a Yandere even is.

(had to create another account since i've been busy from work i forgot my login for @Brimjack even the email i used for that shit)

Anyway, Alex has to be the only retard that creates a "sandbox" game and then proceeds to "patch" every viable gameplay that don't "fit" in his visionary mind of how the game "should" be played.

As for the Undertale thing

No joke, he does that

So basically he has a big wall of "else if" for the animatons of hands and fingers poor Alex never knew about a fucking state machine.

Unsure of what you mean. Cutscenes have to be “hard coded” regardless of whether you do it in code or use the cinematic editor, because they aren’t repeated, except when the exact cutscene replays. Otherwise, I don’t believe his non-cutscene animations are “hard coded,” because you see them get interrupted and such.

In Unity you can use timeline with events, it makes easy when it begins and end

GPU is undervolted, but I think this encapsulates the state of the game perfectly.
