Yes I know this is an insane title, but let me explain, It's going to be a rambly ass textwall and you'll just have to put up with this cause it's been stewing in my head the last few years now, and I have come to this absolutely retarded epiphany of what to call this after along series of unrelated events coalesced into a massive pool of autist pattern recognition bells going haywire till I finally decided to write it down somewhere. Similar shits been brought up a few times in troon threads or threads talking about America's politics landscape but I felt the need to put this specific one down in a stream of consciousness level thoughts thread because I remembered last time this happened with the "men in skirts" forced trend thing I did the same kind of rambling rant deep thoughts thread. Thoughts run pretty deep but I'm not fully alert enough for the maximum brevity factor to be in play.
So anyways, a quick personal lore for context. I'm a goofy ass standard internet shitlord loser guy that's spent a good chunk of time on this site with various monkey statue, video game character doodle, or Donald trump shitpost edit related profile pics. People now the last few years associate me with a Female character from a milked to hell 10 year old Webcomic instead of the monkey man I'm named after due to a statue I own of him, with some literally referring to me with the Homestuck character's name on occasion. This is partly due to some goofy ass inside joke with my PFP stemming from a short now dead thread like maybe only 3 to 5 people tops remember now. Did I want or intend for that to happen? No. Do I give a shit? Not too much. Do I find it funny? Yes, absolutely, ESPECIALLY considering the fact there's like 2 or 3 people on this site with both the avatar and name/username of the character that do not seem to receive the same kind of responses and perception, not even the literal self proclaimed fictionkin that started the AMA thread the joke spawned from. Would have stopped using the character in my profile pic period if I didn't find that development amusing!
Now, there's a reason I brought the above pfp lore up. By the logic of the gender people currently preaching their stuff the last decade or so this backstory and avatar choice would either imply or make me "GNC" or "enby" or whatever nonsense because I don't give a shit about gender. The "problem" here though is I don't view myself as that, and the people that DO view themselves as that in the eternal current year care very very much about labels like that and make it define them because it's how they rake in the clout from the "communities" they entrench themselves in. Communities that are less communities involving actual building or hobbies or anything actually tied to community building and solely vague empty signifier labels. When i say vague and empty I fucking mean it too, there was a chart someone in another thread posted a while back of the "asexual identity spectrum". Because "asexual" means you aren't aiming to have sex but "lgbtq+" type marketing speak explicitly is forced to have sex talk involved there's like 50 different ones that basically say shit like "will have sex if you're closely bonded with someone" or "feels not urge to have sex whatsoever but wants to have sex very much". Essentially at this point, literally every fucking person in existence falls under this "asexual" flag now no matter how much sex they're having.
Anyways, I'm posting the chart here too for ease of access and reading of this nightmare mess of a ramble.

Anyways, the shit plaguing "asexuality" also extends to "non binary" stuff now. No longer just the "he/they" and "she-they" shit that is a clear example, there's a whole lot more nonsense now! Before, those inducted into the globohomo dogma would claim you're transgender for liking some shit aesthetics wise or having an interest in any hobby that's stereotyped as the other gender. Now those old labels that describe stuff like that like tomboy (and anime meme labels from pre-corona times like femboy too because this world is sick) fall under the umbrella of GNC/Enby too!! EVERYONE IS ASEXUAL AND ENBY/TRANS by these standards! Forget the "egg" to be "cracked" thing, LITERALLY EVERYONE IS ALREADY ALL THESE THINGS NOW! There's even a fuckload of pride flags for every fucking minutia factor of the gender expression "spectrum" though I can't find a fucking insane chart like this for it. Only exception truly in this sea of gradient bar flags is you have the wrong opinions, then you're just a "CISHET TERF/CHUD/ALT RIGHT TROLL and will be spammed with violent death threats and attempts of unpersoning from the true believers and clout chasers alike. "troll's remorse" style 180s won't save you from that latter bit, faux or genuine indoctrination, if you said a funny at some point years ago these people didn't like it will linger over your head like a fucking sword of Damocles. Noticed a phenomena with even people I know aren't normally into this kinda shit put the "they" pronouns int heir bio and some of these "ace" flags so it's 100% probably some form of purity test/shield against attacks by the current "lgbtq+ community's wrath. It's gonna bite all the people doing that in the ass the moment they slight the wrong ex-google employee troon. The best way to "win" is to not play the fucking game at all and I'm surprised nobody learns this after around over 10 years of this shit escalating.
Tl;DR: No, you (probably) aren't ACTUALLY Asexual or Enby, practically nobody is.
the definition has shifted to encompass everyone much like racism has shifted to exclude those "without power"

My personal crackpot theory is it's fully intended as a convoluted thought control method, though I honestly don't think that could even be considered a theory at this point given the fact chatbots I've spoken to are far less repetitive and illogical than the people that have fully bought into all of this.
