And it's not like LGBT+ people aren't already stereotyped by bigots as predators and couple breakers in real life! Why the Hell would these gay fetishists want to uphold such a damaging and gross belief under the excuse of "LOL WLW"?

Probably for the same reason that some gay pride parades have nearly-naked men in firefighter costumes riding a float shaped like a penis: they're so detatched from reality that they think what they're doing is subversive and cool when really all it does is reinforce negative stereotypes about LGBT people.

It really bothers me. Decent real life gay people don't want to start shit and ruin relationships. But I'd imagine seeing other people slobber over the idea of home-wrecking must really hurt. No one wants to be seen as predatory but these chucklefucks online cement it over and over without any thought as to how it will look.

a lot of really predatory things are considered cute when theyre gay, especially lesbian, u just gotta look around n notice it
this is just more of the mindset that lesbians are never creepy, their love is inherently more pure than male love

Pro tip: Anyone who uses the word "pure" in the tumblr context (usually accompanied by the word "smol") is garbage and can usually be cut out of your life with no detriment to you.
 
I'm sure a large part of it is that people who use fiction to replace actual romance are generally virgins with zero perspective on what a healthy relationship looks like. Twilight didn't become popular for nothing, and these people would surely be all over it if Edward was a chick.

Ok I knew Batwoman was lesbian, Wonder woman is bisexual...but what are the rest? where they forced to go political lesbian? I know some love shipping Poison Ivy & Harley together, but...didn't Batman & Catwoman have a child together at some point?
