"lesbian" is just a cutsey label u can stick on urself, they just love how it sounds. its on the same tier as "space/spaceself and "bun/bunself pronouns only uwu" at this point.

its not just about BEING gay or being attracted to women, they go on abt how lesbian they are so much because they just love the idea of lesbianhood. kinda creepy ngl
theres all these "nonbinary/demiboy/genderfluid transmasculine girl" people which are, lets be honest, 90% of the time teen girls who love piling on as many labels as possible
they wanna be their unique gender-role nonconforming gender, but also wanna have that sweet sweet aesthetic lesbian title.

It's nothing new. About a decade ago, you had teen girls claiming to be bisexual for attention while stretching the definition of "bisexual" so far that anyone could fit it. The same thing proceeded to happen with being transgender, asexual, and just LGBT/"queer" in general. Now we're coming up on teens doing the same with lesbians and gay men. But where do we go once we've exhausted every possible label under the LGBT umbrella?

we DID have a thread about that iirc, but it's been locked, probably due to the lackluster OP and that it got sorta off-topic

I'm hoping for somebody to make a new thread about this because it's been blowing up lately, if nobody else makes it then i'll probably do it myself and see if I can make the OP a bit longer and detailed

I remember this person! She reminds me of these creepy and entitled non-straight girls who get bitchy about ICKY SEXUALIZATION and EW GUYS, but think it’s okay when THEY fantasize about dating and smooching and touching the hair of the cute girls they lust after — OOPS want to date. Because forcing your ~pastel-colored pure lesbian daydreams uwu~ on other women is NOT fetishistic, not at all.

(Nice erasure of gay guys too. Homophobic, much?)

And like I think I said before... her chunky, uglified, childish-looking art is also super telling. Me thinks someone hates women who are prettier than her and, rather than improving herself in any way she sees fitting, projects it on drawing canonically pretty/sexy girls as obese, ambiguously brown blobs.
