Admittedly, I've spent more time on F-List than I'd like. Occasionally, though, you see the weirdest people imaginable. There was a board on which I spent a great deal of time, on which the same guy would post a new ad for RP every ten minutes like clockwork. It was always a new setup, with a new illustration, describing how his character was somehow transformed into a penis. Not a penis attached to anything, mind you, but just a penis flopping around on the floor, piloting a robot, dressed up like a doll, or seemingly anything else a penis could conceivably do. This would go on for hours on end.

So anyway, I mentioned stories earlier. Before I go any further, I ought to explain that I first joined F-list on the behest of a friend. The goal was to see how many people I could get to contact me who had quite obviously not taken any time to read my profile at all, or who felt they were The Exception To The Rule(TM).

This is when I learnt that female dominants are about as rare on F-list as water on the surface of the sun. I'm not quite sure what it is about such communities, but the standard populace is around 95% submissive, 50% hermaphrodite/shemale, and a minimum 75% furry. Maybe 5% of the furries on F-list are straight, while the other 95% are a fairly even split between gay, bisexual or pansexual. Thus, I discovered rule 1 of F-list; you will get fucking DELUGED with people begging, pleading, demanding that you dominate them. Even if you are blatantly not the right character type for them, the 'Usually Dominant' or 'Always Dominant' tag will get people forming a line outside your door.

Another amusing thing that I've noticed during my time of F-list is that female characters tend to have far more reasonable, considerate, authoritative players than males. Literally every male character I've had the misfortune to communicate with on F-list has been whiny, clingy, demanding and insanely persistent. There are still some submissive males trying to make contact with my dominant character eight months after first sending them a message.

However, things take a substantial turn for the worse when you realize that F-list has a major market for underage straight male submissives. I've been contacted several times by very erudite, polite people who would really, really love to discuss how we could work up a cracker of a roleplay based around my character molesting a boy aged between 6-10, usually with heavy BDSM kinks involved. Most of these profiles required a minimum of 7-10 lines per emote for such roleplays. The majority of these people took great pains to detail in their profile just how important 'realism' was to them, and how they preferred long-term roleplay with a strong storyline. I could probably find a few of their profiles if I tried hard enough, but I honestly don't want to.

To be fair, this is everywhere that has its fingers in kink. Male submisives are overrepresented.

Well, the f-list population sample is shitty and skewed enough already, so you can't draw any solid conclusions. Though, if I had to take a stab, I'd say that they probably started with unaddressed esteem issues that they internalized into their sexuality over years. People tend to compartmentalize aspects of themselves as they grow, and this dude's whites got mixed with the colors in the laundry.
