I forgot the best part: the iPhone 5C; the iPhone, Pre-Cracked.

What.

Is there anyone out there that can decipher this? WTF Chris.

I'll give it a shot.

He means that he's made a fashion statement with this new iPhone 5 by cracking it (hence the 5C). He probably believes this should be a new feature and that Apple should sell cracked iPhones just because he sat on his and thinks it looks hip.

maybe a "wheelin and dealin" find of his.
he finds a cracked iphone 5 and justifies the deal.

To me it sounded like he was repeating a joke from the newspaper article.

I'm pretty sure he's mocking people who think that cracked screens are cool. The stuff he copied from the article aren't actual quotes, but him paraphrasing the article. Well, unless the print version of the article is different from the online version, although I don't think it is, because from Chris' picture of the article, it seems to match.

I think he's just saying it's stupid here:

So... Chris said something somewhat intelligent for once?

Chris has added a bunch more posts related to this idea. He really seems to be running with this idea. Also showing off his bootleg ipod holder.

EDIT- Also just read the article, not as stupid as I thought. It's not like teens are breaking their phones on purpose or anything. Basically they're too cheap to fix'em so it becomes street cred, for lack of a better term, for the digital generation. Makes total sense to me. Not too different than me putting safety pins in all clothes because I was totally punk my Sophmore year. The fact this captured Chris's imagination is mind boggling.

if only if it were in reference to self reflection.

So Chris broke his IPhone...when things are given to you for free, you don't take care of them as you should, am I right chrissy? *yawn*

With the way he covers a table with his various handhelds, I wouldn't be surprised if one fell off and broke. Or if he set one down in his room and couldn't find it again until he stepped/sat on it. It surprises me more than he hasn't broken more of his electronics (or maybe he has, and just doesn't say anything).

Alright, so Marvin was right and Chris actually finds this whole thing hilarious rather than inspiring. So, for once, Chris was intelligent. I suppose it's been known to happen.

Is it intelligent though? I mean it's common sense that "Broken= bad" the majority of the time. I'm more of the thought process that he doesn't get the youth culture and thus falls down the path of old cat lady even more.

Well he now has a picture up of his duct tape case and he shows his two devices, one is cracked.

Doesn't the iPhone also function like an iPod? Because its rare I meet people who own both. I never thought that his tugboat can allow him to own both. What was he thinking when he decided to get both an iPhone and iPod at the expense of taxpayer's money?

He's still so insistent on labeling his possessions with his name, the way a six year old would with a coloring book. I'm genuinely surprised that he didn't write on the front of it that he is high-functioning autistic and seeks a pretty girl, etc etc.

sooo this is chris becoming an apple guy.

and he totally broke his ipod. he was taking the article at face value.

And he keeps it "tucked in his bosom", which I assume means stuck in his cleavage.
