I have volumes 1-7 of the manga that I've never bothered to read. I have no clue why. Apparently there's only 8 volumes, so I could grab the last one and read them sometime. Though no incest? What's the point then?

This is just typical Brony sperging, Chris isn't the only one bitching about this, I'm sure other bronies are complaining about this as well

EDIT- Also apparently some critics went to an early rough cut screening where it got positive reviews. Surely Cole got into such an exclusive event. Surely.
I thought somebody on the previous forum said that Cole was banned from early screenings and is no longer a certified critic? Might not have been true though, just wishful thinking.
Oh I was totally joking. Apologies for not making it more obvious.

I've no interest in seeing Equestria Girls in theaters. I'll wait for the inevitable criterion release.

i'm surprised cole hasn't reviewed it yet. he only watches the trailers

I'd love it if this movie depicted the reality of HS life and its dangers. Like, human Twilight is slipped a roofie while at a party and is subsequently taken advantage of/raped. As if that isn't enough, the film's climax deals with a school shooting. Twilight gets shot and barely escapes with her life through the portal and back to Equestria. Once home, she demands that Princess Celestia destroy the portal, lest anypony else return to that horrid land.

Of course, the big shocker lies at the end when Twilight learns the rape she endured left her pregnant! Will it be human, pony, or something worse? That'll be the teaser that leads into season 4.

And all the little girls in the theater will cry

^ But the Brony manchildren will cry loudest of all for what Hasbro has done to their waifu!

Watch as the movie tanks so badly that all things pony are boarded up at Hasbro. Chris will launch another lengthy rant on how he was right.

What this all boils down to is one thing:

CHRIS THINKS THAT THE WORLD HAS TO WORK THE WAY HE WANTS IT TO

And when it doesn't, it's obviously the work of those slanderous trolls.

I'd watch that, and I haven't even seen a single MLP:FiM episode.

I am actually interested to see how this does at the box office. Between the fact that it is a kids' movie (which generally do well) and the brony community it'll be interesting to see. It doesn't look like they are doing anything special animation wise so it should be relatively cheap production wise.

So the crowd at the movie theaters will be half-fat, sweaty, neckbeards , and half-little girls with their Moms?

Probably. Of course it depends on the self respect/self awareness of the brony. Cause not for nothing but I won't see a kids movie unless I'm on a date or something. Otherwise I think it looks mad creepy.

The floors won't be sticky because of spilled soda, that's for sure.

Confession time: I saw The Secret World of Arrietty by myself. There was nobody else in the theater except an old couple, though.

That's too bad since Ghibli features are much better than any toy commercial masquerading as a cartoon.

Honestly that's fine. And really I'm self concious so it may be a normal thing to do. But something like MLP? Big difference between that and a Ghibli movie.
