Speaking of being banned for saying retard, just recently a user was banned for posting a clip from the Eric Andre Show because Eric says retard in it.

I was re-reading this thread and I saw the announcement about "Direct Messages are now available!" on a page of a Knockout thread.
Why did it take two whole years to make a private message system? Something that's so basic shouldn't take so long to make unless the devs are either idiots, trying to clean up shitty code, or never planned for it in the first place.

Here are the short and long versions:
It's worth noting that of four people in the thread, one person is a fucking admin who shouldn't be having a chimpout like this, one person has the right idea, one person is a shitposter, and one person doesn't give a crap.

- Venomousbeetle whistleblows the mod Discord server, is immediately permabanned by IceCold and his post nuked.
- IceCold points out why saying "retard" is bad and other bullshit. People notice he's turning into Garry.
- The thread count to access Meta is raised from 10 to 15 because le evil Kiwi Farms, etc.
- A thread is made to discuss the ban on "retard". It devolves into circlejerking and personal attacks. It is then locked.
- Another thread is made to ask for a change, and it is still currently opened.
Brace yourself, 'cause this is a big one.
A user in the LMAO Pics thread made a meme containing "retard" and was banned for it under their bullshit rules. Venomousbeetle decided to go out in a blaze of glory and whistleblew that he unbanned someone for no reason, which led to his account being permabanned and the whole fucking thread nuked. IceCold then made another thread talking about why you can't say "retard", which devolved into 30 pages worth of circlejerking, "personal attacks", and actual "autistic" people stepping in about why they were "harassed" and that they should "go back to 4chan" if they wanted to say slurs. I appreciate the effort but next time please make an actual archive of the threads, because otherwise everything you posted might as well be useless.
Also, the threads you linked to load for a split second and then stay on a blank screen, so there's probably some backend fuckery going on to prevent people from seeing the threads.
