so this game has been getting rather popular lately, so i thought it'd be worth making a thread over. so basically, you and 59 other players compete against each other (or in some cases, teaming up) in various rounds over different maps while usually avoiding brightly colored obstacles. levels consist of minigames from not falling off a spinning platform with to staying on hexagonal platforms that vanish after a few seconds to avoiding giant rolling fruit coming your way, or teamwork related ones like a soccer style minigame or one where you have to steal the tails of the other teams.

this game kinda looks fun to me, as it reminds me of wipeout, though im not sure what people here would think. game is free 20 dollar on playstation and on on pc

I picked it up on pc when I saw several of my friends had gotten it. So far I've actually been enjoying it and it gives me a good break from other games I've been playing. It's pretty fast paced, silly, the art style is an acquired taste for sure, and same with the music. Grab a drink and a few friends and that sounds like a great night to me.

I do have two cons so far though:
One is that there does seem to be some way to cheat the game. I've seen first hand characters just flying to the end of the map. I've only see that twice but I've also seen it on some streams of the game.

Two is for the PC version using mouse and keyboard. Sometimes as you load in, the cursor doesn't disappear like it should so it just floats around as you're playing for the rest of the game set.

It 's why I play with my gamepad on this game. Mouse and keyboard feels pretty wonky for platformers in my subjective opinion.

I completely agree. I don’t play platformers so never had a need for a controller for my PC. I may have to get one though to up my game.

You will always find cheaters online, even in games like this one.

looks like the creators played mario party one night and though "why dont we make a game with a few mario party stages, with 30 players on and sell it?"

dosent look bad, its just better games out there. you only play it if your a friendless loser in real life (like me).

Apparently the team is already working on new games to add in. Which I think is what’s going to determine how popular it remains: speed/varsity of new mini-games to play

What you meant to say was "so this game's marketing team has been giving streamers a lot of money to play this shitty game."

The streamer snow job is so obvious, I don't know how people keep falling for it.

The quality of games varies hugely. I'd argue the most 'headline-y' of the maps is actually the worst - Fall Mountain.

Basically, at the end of the game there's a bunch of mini-games that can be played, whoever is the sole winner earns the crown (a special currency that cannot be bought). The problem is that the level starts with the most random and unpredictable parts, and gets easier as you go up it. This means that basically the game's decided once you get past that first point, and unless your opponents small-brain it, you cannot win.
