Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout - AKA: a takeshi's castle/wipeout style battle royale game about platforming jellybeans

Door Dash is trash
The optimization on the games is shit. Either its games no one loses, team games, or games where you fuck up youre done.

Having said that my favorite one is the slime one because the creators apparently didnt realize how many people would get fucked by it. You could enter the final round with 4 people because of it.

Also this game would have been way bigger if it came out 15 years ago with 6x the amount of games. Theres literally no reason it couldn't have come out on the 360 near launch. Its the sort of game one could play with friends and online. Plus by that point, they probably could have literally paid the guys from MXC to do commercials for it.

I am already tired of seeing this game and I hope it dies quickly.

Are you always so grumpy about games? Put a smile on that face.

It's a wholesome kid's game. Kids like watching it, playing it for a little, then watching someone they know fail in a funny way.

My patience for it is low, but it's not really for me. It's pretty nice for someone younger in small doses IMO.

I don't keep up that much with indie gaming news so for me it came out of nowhere and was suddenly everywhere. I'm seeing it all over the japanese twitter accounts I'm following too so I guess a bunch of vtubers started playing it as well.

I've been playing this on my PS4 since it's one of this month's free PS+ games and I've been enjoying it despite not winning a single final match. But FUUUUUUCK Fall Mountain, that shit definitely needs to be retooled to make it less of a crapshoot.
No, but streamer bait annoys me.
As far as I've seen it's more YouTuber bait than streamer bait but that's in part due to editing. Hell, two Smash Bros. YTers I watch uploaded Fall Guys videos.

It was a cool little time killer for me at launch, but The game is basically dieing on PC now. Every match has 20 out of 40 players hacking and flying across the map. invaliding the entire point of the game. Also as far as the "i wish they would use actual player names insted of fallguy #####" they use to do that. But "hackers" found away to inject html code into the game threw the way steam displays names or some such shit. So they removed the ability to display any names at all ..what this lead to is the aforementioned "hackers"(script kiddies really) getting complete and total anonymity. Which meens that the game now has 20 of 40 players hacking and flying around the map with no fear of repercussions(ie steam VAC bans) even if they do it on popular streams.

the seesaw levels is fucking aids and its designer should be cancelled and shamed, also like people said rampant hacking make the game almost unplayable sometimes, and if you are poor like me, it kicks you out because you are lagging to much

After playing this game on the behest of friends, I can attest to a bunch of the levels being awful. Special mention has to go to the two tail minigames. They should really work by having the tails spawn around the map (rather than attached to players), and have people qualify based on total time held at the end of the game. (rather than whoever has a tail at the moment the game ends)

It's pretty fun, not going to lie, but it's frustrating at times.

Pros:
1. I really like Slime Climb and Hex-A-Gone. Slime Climb because while it's simple, it will fuck you over if you're not paying close attention (and you can be a dick and push people off at certain points). Hex-A-Gone because you can be strategic. Do you try to remain as high as you can? Do you fall down to the last level and run around to destroy the tiles, condemning anybody else who falls?
2. Most of the races are pretty cool. Hell, I think See-Saw is good and I've never really had a problem with it.
3. The team-based minigames can be pretty intense with the right people, assuming that your team isn't full of dumbshits.
4. Each minigame is pretty short and doesn't usually linger on for more than it should. The matches generally last around 15 to 20 minutes, so it's good for killing some time if you have something to do later.

Cons:
1. As of right now, there's not a ton of variety. I swear to god, I get Roll Out as the second minigame almost every time.
2. FUCK FALL MOUNTAIN AND ROYAL FUMBLE. YOU ARE SCREWED IN FALL MOUNTAIN IF YOUR STARTING POSITION IS TOO FAR BACK AND YOU ARE SCREWED IN ROYAL FUMBLE BECAUSE OF THE BULLSHIT HITBOXES AND LAG.
3. While some minigames are difficult, some are so easy to the point where I often see nobody getting eliminated. In Block Party, even at the highest speed, the walls are incredibly easy to maneuver around and jump over. In Perfect Match, you're virtually guaranteed to make it past the first round since there's only two fruit to choose from. At the second and third round, you can just be a sheep and follow a crowd onto the right panel if you can't remember it (that does have a very small chance to backfire, though).
4. Team-based minigames in general. That is all.
5. If you're someone who likes getting all the achievements, then you'll hate "Infallible". What is it? Oh, just win five full games in a fucking row to get it.

If the game happens to be free at some point in the future, I think it's worth checking out and playing a couple games despite it's flaws.

Also, am I the only one who's never had a hacker in a game? I keep seeing a lot of people complaining about it, but I figure I'm just lucky.

dude it looks like fun but nothing to buy off sale, wake me when its 50% off.

Season 2’s been up for a bit and it’s fairly enjoyable, I like the medieval/fantasy theme it’s going for.

That said, one of the partnership costumes has been revealed via datamining. Gotta go fast...

Apologies for the Twitter tag, I can’t find a non-tagged version.
Sorry for necroing this thread but "Big Yeetus" and "Thicc Bonkus" are both a thing and it's the reason why Fall Guys deserves to die.
To be fair that kind of naming is standard practice for social media, indie devs, and/or both. You’re also a bit late on complaining about the first one, that one was revealed during the middle of September.

Yeah, go figure. But seriously, who in their right mind thought that it was a good idea?
