Got an hour-and-a-half to kill and want to learn how it all started and slowly fell apart? Have I got a couple of stories for you...

If you have considerably more time and want to learn why Fallout 76 specifically failed, both from the technological perspective as well as the usual incompetency, here are two of the best videos I found not counting those

To answer your question, no it isn't. The game somehow gets worse with every update, even the few remaining players don't care about what's in the updates unless it gives them easier ways to dupe legendary items or more ridiculous weapons for their barbie dolls to use

I got it for $10 a couple years back with a friend and I thought it was ok at that price for someone who just wanted to explore but ignore other players, building mechanics, grind repetitive quests, etc. However, we got bored of it once we hit level 30ish and haven’t picked it up in over a year. If they add a way to kill the annoying radio host I may consider a reinstall.

Generally the worst part of Fallout 76 is the live service elements. If you watch the above videos, you will find that despite being made as a multiplayer game, 76 fights the actual co-op and PVP mechanics at every opportunity. This should have been a single player game with mod support and if they wanted to make an online experience, they should have just released a Fallout 4 multiplayer expansion. At this point, all we can hope for is that all of 76 will be ported over to the Fallout 4 engine at some point and we can play the game as it was meant to be, ala TTW for 3 and New Vegas. We already have pretty much every asset ported already, that includes the radio, animations ect. now we just need to focus on the worldspace.

100% in agreement. That’s why I said we avoided all player interactions and other bullshit mechanics. Bad game, ok world.

Doesn't matter, somebody will eventually make it and there is nothing they can do about it

That Bethesda video you linked has a small mistake, Inon Zur actually composed music for Fallout Tactics so he is technically a returning composer for the franchise. Video is pretty new, so I am probably the first guy to point that out.

Anime gooner, becoming a granny-tranny and Fallout 76: Name a more iconic combo. Altho from the looks of it, he seems to enjoy the other Bethesda entries, to nobody's surprise.
